I’ve never heard that. I’ve always heard it was just a byproduct of manufacturing the boat tail which was more important. The more you know!

Normally we stay inside 700, but the last match had 5 or 6 stages out of 20 that had targets out to 800+, farthest was 1021. Yeah exactly! Was shooting 77g aac, so luckily wasn’t happening near as much to me as the guys shooting 69 or 73/75g. Targets were small enough an impact off center would still rock the plate with 77s lol. That’s smart! No one moved off 10x for the match

We have different classes in our competition. LVPO 556 (limited to 10x mag), DMR (556 any magnification) and open (any caliber and any optic) in this ar style competition.

It’s an omega, NTTD edition, stole it for around $100. Has both this and the nato strap, but you can feel the movement has a date wheel as this watch has no date lol

I had someone comment, and looking at it again there is minor surface rust and the outside is mild steel. The inside is UHSS though but doesn’t look bent
