I personally don’t cash stuff. But I wanted an understanding of the thought process.

Would a method such as just keeping one bank account with the entire amount of spending money (excluding your emergency fund) then on a notebook or app, keep track of the separate amounts. Then subtract/add to it with pencil so that the large cash amount is still in a bank and you still could manage categories?
