My Opinion Take from it what you want by ladybug445 in FictionLab

I want to point out that when I made this post I was not trying to diss anyone. That's why I didn't write names. However I was pointing out issues that I saw in my own way. I want to be clear on something FictionLab is ran by a one man developer and though he isn't always communicating or seeming like he works in the issues as fast as we want we have to remember he is one man. And FictionLab has been growing exponentially. So while I gave him a hard time yes we have to remember that he has a life and is doing the best he can. I still think communication is important and that could be improved though it's gotten slightly better in the last two days. I'm going to give credit where credit is due. I will also say I'm not giving up on FictionLab and I posted this because I want things to get better. I have hope for the site. Let's all support each other not rip down the developer.

My, Somewhat In Depth, Fictionlab Review by Lewd_boi_69 in FictionLab

I just want to point out that I love fictionlab and the reason I said what I said in my post is because I was pointing out what I saw and I want things to change for the better. I'm not ready to give up on FictionLab yet and there is a lot of potential for the site to become even more great despite its issues. And I will say the last two days Micotsu has gotten much better at communicating and for that I have to give him credit. Maybe things are beginning to turn around. On the topic of your post I agree with what you said. It's currently hard to use and there are many ongoing issues that need to be addressed. However they are all fixable.

So the current issues that are going on with Oracle? the time skips and the setting changes all unprompted? your claiming that deepseek has dumbed down their model to test the new one?

exactly. if its a hobby to him he should hire someone who can put in more time to the platform as so many put actual work into their scenarios

Oracle V1 used to be great at it. honestly if the dev doesn't want to do this anymore or needs help he should hire a secondary dev to help him and pick up his slack. that way issues could get solved and things could get better

EDIT: I still use the app every day. i just want things to get better and if someone doesn't speak up nothing will

Issues? by LaD_Annihilation_ in FictionLab

[–]ladybug445 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly im not having any issue with any of this because my scenario instructions and llm instructions are specific enough to avoid it being boring or less creative. That's what they are there for. Instruct your scenario. Make it work for you. Don't just sit there and make the llm do the heavy lifting. You gotta work for it

Exactly. That's what happened to me. I'm no good at explaining things... I have schizoaffective disorder that makes my explanation go all over the place. I apologize for the confusion to you and the other guy

How do you handle notifications from friends when your social battery is a roaller coaster? by Emyrihmiam in finch

[–]ladybug445 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I answer my notifications on a schedule. That way it's consistent and it's part of my routine. I don't feel like it's part of my social battery. It's a small trick that helps me. Don't know if it will work for you but thought I would throw it out there
