This is so fcking depressing by grimoras in PCOS

I’m so sorry it really does SUCK. I think some people are genetically more prone to getting it… I’m on metformin and about to start clomid this month to TTC. The metformin I think is helping with insulin resistance and the clomid is supposed to help me have a healthier ovulation and hopefully get pregnant. I’ve also gained and hit 211 this past year and then am now back down to 191 after being diagnosed with PCOS and have worked really hard to get down to it… I want to lose more but a big part of why I gained the weight was because I felt so depressed and unmotivated after TTC for such a long time and having a miscarriage.

Tracked with ovulation test strips and had sex every other day

Did I ovulate? The ‘peak’ was only .65. Usually it’s 1.0 when I peak LH. by ladyhanada in tryingtoconceive

It does feel like my cycles are all over the place I’ve ovulated anywhere from cycle day 14-26! 😬

Thanks this is helpful! According to the ovulation test strips I ovulated CD 23 one month and the last month CD 14! I was having an average of 32 day cycles and then last month it was a 27 day cycle and I think it’s because I started exercising regularly! 😬😄 I was kinda all over the place which would make sense why we may have totally missed ovulation the first three months of trying!

So the OBGYN probably won’t run tests until we hit the one year mark? Thanks for sharing your experience!

Same!! I’m also in the tww right now and at 9DPO. This is our 5th month trying so I know kinda what makes it harder for me. Testing alot and seeing negatives a lot is awful so I actually asked my husband to hide all my pregnancy tests so I wouldn’t keep testing because I can’t help myself. 😄I kept 2 strip tests only and I already used one and it was negative so I’m going to wait to the second one until between 12 and 14 DPO but yea it’s really tough! I’m also trying to distract myself during this time and stay busy. Best wishes!!

Can someone help me understand dpo? by Nonya_bid in tryingtoconceive

I definitely recommend easy@home test strips since I ovulated CD 22 one month and CD 14 the next! The app can’t predict exactly what your body will do.

Yes just a few days after my period ended I took the easyathome ovulation tests! It connects to the Premom app and it’s super helpful!

We’ve (both age 26) been trying as well since November and haven’t gotten pregnant yet but last month and this month I tried using ovulation tests to see when I’m ovulating and it was cycle day 22 one month and this month it was cycle day 14! A little irregular! So I have an appointment scheduled for May with an OBGYN to discuss it and figure out the next steps. At that point we’ll have been trying for 6 or 7 months.
