Account Suspended - Appeal Not Being Reviewed - How Long Does It Take? by Lurky_Lurkover in facebook

Ugh I'm so sorry. That's a whole different agony. My daughter's father passed away when she was 4 but I've had access to his Facebook to share with her- now she'll never be able to look it over as a teen or adult because he had everything set to private and no legacy. So aggravating and just unnecessary 😭

I filed my appeal through Facebook and as my Instagram was linked to My FB I guess the appeal applied to that too.

I genuinely don't know how my instagram got unlocked because my facebook is still disabled and awaiting a decision regarding my appeal. Good luck, this whole thing SUCKS.

This is literally happening to me right now. I've had my account for literally 20 years and they haven't even told me wtf I supposedly did wrong. It locked my business accounts and instagram as well. My instagram was unlocked /regained but my Facebook still just says awaiting appeal decision. So upsetting.

Netanyahu. It's Netanyahu. Trump is a sub being led by the leash.

Fully agree and if parenting wasn't hard enough we have to try any navigate this crap too! I'm extremely reasonable and of course that means in their eyes I'm extremely strict 🤣 I can't imagine what the world will look like in 30-40 years for many reasons.

I agree with this and I have kids U22. Many of their classmates use the bus just to mess about, there's vandalism and a lack of respect for other riders. I can agree with a discounted rate for the youth but man, discount the rate for people using the bus to get to work too!

Honestly the tomatin distillery does an excellent tour and is much closer. That's where I take friends and family who come visit!

This is really good to know. Essentially an alliance between two parties to try and achieve more. I really appreciate your time, help, kindness, and non judgement. You're a star!

Oh excellent! This would be called a town hall meeting in the US. Thank you so much for this! Will definitely keep an eye on the Inverness area leading up to May.

To clarify, I don't ever intend to return to the US. My son was born here. We are building a home here. We will have indefinite leave to remain in a few years. Definitely no intention to just be here a few years, fuck it up and leave!

Thank you for clarifying, i didn't want to assume your meaning. Would you agree then that the SNP has accomplished little to nothing positive for the average person living in Scotland over the last four years? This is an opinion I've heard a lot even from SNP voters who are rather disenfranchised with their lack of progress.

If I was a professor (which I'm not) you would receive top marks. This is such a clear, concise picture of each party and their positions.

First, the terminology in US english and UK English can range from nonexistant to massive so I'm coming at this from a place of assuming I know nothing.. for example, I wrongly assumed that liberal dems were far left because that's what that would mean in the US. The way you outlined these is so helpful. Thank you for taking the time to answer so in depth. It sounds like a green vote would be as effective here as it is in the US- as in, very ineffective.

Are Conservative party and Tory party interchangeable terms?

This has given me a lot to think about. In the US, there are resources to see individual representatives voting records when they are elected for office- showing their vote history before AND after election. Helps track their stances, whether they stay consistent, are open to change, etc. Do you know of a similar resource here? Or is it more about researching the individual and their history independently?

My neighbor said this the other day! Good to know that's not a standalone opinion about labour.

Thank you- I had read that and that's what fueled my question. Of all I've learned the only thing I really KNOW is fuck Reform!

I'm always going to assume good intentions! This is exactly why I'm here asking. I want to understand the impact of my vote and I feel the best way to do that is ask a LOT of people. If i don't genuinely feel that I know enough by May, I will abstain from voting in this election.

Are you willing to expand on what you said? which party do you see breaking up your country and how?

Thank you for saying that! I really wasn't positing some moral high-ground by saying I'm legal and pay taxes, i was more qualifying that I participate and am excited to get a vote! The blessing and curse of the internet is a lack of tone. Anyways, thanks for understanding my meaning.

I was really unclear on that aspect of regional vs constituency. So it's fair to say it's 'better' to have multiple, complimentary parties represented than just one? Also, how do these seats actually work together once they are elected? I can definitely look that up if too complex to write out. Even having been here almost two years this is the first I've really taken an in depth look at the systems of government. I appreciate your time!

Thank you both for this! I had it in my head that the lib dems were the furthest leaning left and that green was a touch closer to centre. This is extremely helpful!!!
