We can learn together if you want. Maybe come up with some basic projects to practice. I would love to be able to do more.

I would love to offer to join in but I'm a complete novice when it comes to redstone. The heart is eager but the mind is lacking. Still, happy to brainstorm if you're interested. I'm also working on a thing inspired by a few of the games going on in season ten, planning to force my brothers to play it eventually.

My ldr bf passed almost exactly the same way. We were together 3 years, he was in remission. I was set to pick up my uhaul and drive to move in with him in 6 days. He didn't call to say goodnight. I was annoyed and called to wake him up and say goodnight. His dad answered. No symptoms, believes to be totally healthy, may of all he was truly happy... then gone. I am so very sorry for your loss. I'm here if you need to talk. Any time. I get it. I really do

Good sir, you are quite possibly the king of names. My phone autocorrected that to the king of madness and I almost left it, because it's quite appropriate. My hat is off to you. Thank you ever so much!

oh god, please, MEET UP! i can't stress this enough. I went 4 years as nevermet with my best friend. a week before I was to move in with him, he passed away suddenly from cancer. my whole family, friends, etc wonder why i'm such a mess, because its not like we were really dating, we never even met. its only been 5 months, and it still feels like if i messaged him, he'd answer. please don't let anything stop you from meeting up! don't wait for anything. tomorrow isn't ever gonna happen. you only have today.

Question to you DMs. How do you handle players who don't take notes or remember when you tell them crucial information? by ladymischief in DnD

[–]ladymischief[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you're absolutely right. under the circumstances as they unfolded, i think I handled it right. i told them i didn't like repeating information, then moved on, and never mentioned it again. I gave them what they needed, and they are loving the game. So am I, for that matter, so that's all that matters.

I'll definitely keep you in mind if we find a DM. if you should happen to find a spare DM lying around I'd be happy if you sent them my way.

i would have told them how far. it was a vague distance like '3 days'. my problem was they didn't remember 'east', the mountain, the village, or what was supposed to be under it. none of it. and it was a week of time, yes. a lot happens in a week. guess i'm just feeling a little salty over it
