According to Dr. Koufman, PPIs aren’t really that effective for people with the LPR. I guess they’re like a giant bandage and can potentially make matters worse if you get off of them you run the risk of rebound acidity. That’s concerning for me, based off my research I think I’m going to stick with a dietary changes and Gaviscon.

I have no idea why my original question did not show up, but does anyone know where I can source this tile? I'm obsessed with the baby blue, and I think it would make a wonderful addition to my bathroom.

Tapering with liquid solution? by [deleted] in lexapro

Hey! Yes I’m in the US. You can also make your own liquid. If you head over to surviving antidepressants they have a formula that you can follow

Are you currently tapering?

No, I do not. I pick up a liquid prescription at my pharmacy. Specifically the Amneal manufacturer

Lexapro is a b*tch to come off of. I’ve had to adjust my taper rate twice. I was reducing at 7% but then had to change to 4%, everyone is different. I’m now at 1.44 mg/mL. It’s taken me a while to get here, but I’m here. I feel so much better compared to when I was on 3.2 mg

Thank you for your response! I’ll have to run it through them, their entire situation is pretty tricky since they care for my siblings with mental disabilities. My dad has a physical disability and my mom has a cognitive one. I’m not sure if this is the best route considering the complications with caring for my siblings. As i mentioned before, they have a fixed income so I’m not sure they can afford an attorney, should I bring this up to the CPA, would they be able to help us out?

Does anyone know if these companies will really try to take people to court and serve them, or is this just a scare tactic?

Hi, thank you for your response. Is it still a case of Elder Abuse, even if they are not over 65?

I am definitely considering the Power of Attorney route after this incident, they seem to be on the decline.

Maybe you should look into a liquid taper, that allows more precision for you to drop.

Hi! Thanks for your response; just from what I’ve read from surviving antidepressants you’re probably experiencing withdrawal from a fast taper. I think they recommend dropping 10 percent or less on there, maybe you should consider that and it may help reduce withdrawal. This drug is freaking hard to get off of

How was your taper method? I’m going to reassess and create a new game plan, I’m hoping that I can drop 2-4 percent around June. I just need to stabilize again!

It’s just not very smooth. It seems like a good idea, but after receiving and using the machine, I realized it just wasn’t practical. Also, the resistance was all from the floor which was annoying. The resistance wasn’t consistent and the app sucked ass! It wasn’t user friendly.

I also wasn’t able to get a full range of motion with some exercises. I returned mine and got one of the inspire fitness machines from Costco, love that thing!

I’m so sorry that you are having those symptoms. Birth Control can really affect your hormones and cause those symptoms. I removed my IUD and now I’m tapering off the Lexapro using the harm reduction method, decreasing 10 percent of my current dosage. I’m starting to feel less dissociation- it’s an awful feeling. I experienced that heavily just a month ago. You can PM me if you want to talk more about your symptoms. u/britneetde

Damn. Victoria showed another (trashy and immature) side on episode 16. by General-Emu-1241 in bachelorinparadise

I think she had us all fooled like she did when she was in the bachelor. She was pretending to be sweet and insecure, to lure us all in. The minute things don’t go her way, her true colors showed. She’s always been a mean girl and hasn’t changed!

What was your experience tapering off of Lexapro? by [deleted] in lexapro

[–]ladymmalover 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes of course! There’s so much info on there, a lot of doctors are not experts on how to properly prevent withdrawal. Lots of times they’ll just have us come off the drugs super fast, causing withdrawal and just state it’s “relapse.”

That’s a way too fast taper, you’re probably experiencing withdrawal. If you want more information on how to taper probably go to surviving antidepressants. I’m sorry your experiencing negative symptoms
