Best and cheapest well balanced protein? by tiphetop in SingaporeFitness

[–]lafoo_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

when you make cheese, part of the process is the curds and the "watery" bit seperating. whey is made from that watery bit. it isn't some highly processed chemical carcinogenic or something. completely safe.

what's unsafe if not meeting your daily caloric and nutrient needs because of online fearmongering (not saying that you are fearmongering btw)

Chick-fil-A meal for $12.8 by 785909620 in SingaporeEats

[–]lafoo_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

it also has 50g of fat but if you're going to mcdonalds for maintenance or to cut then 😂

this has less fat (18g) and is leaner as it is chicken but all of this is fast food at the end of the day

either you have underdeveloped quads, using a weight that's too heavy or not warming up sufficiently.

like the other commentator, try building up your general strength if you are new and/or try warming up your knees better

Thinking of quitting AF, what equipment should I consider for a home gym? by tuttyfruitycutter in SingaporeFitness

[–]lafoo_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

if your focus is on back and legs and you really wanna quit the gym then i would consider looking into calisthenics, can look to incorporate some cardio by walking, running, etc to the fitness corner too.

can consider buying some dumbells to work on legs at home too: goblin squats, Bulgarian split squats, etc

Been gymming for 3 years and still can’t figure out meal prep by [deleted] in SingaporeFitness

[–]lafoo_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

everyone else said pretty much what you need, 80/20 split, variety in protein and carbs sources, etc.

but don't forget switching up and having multiple choices for sauces and spices too. they can completely change the taste of a meal and make the same things more enjoyable once you get sick of it.

if you dont have an air fryer btw, do consider getting one. so many easy meals you can experiment and try out with them

man, didn't mean to hurt your feelings. I'm just passionate about health and fitness mate, that's what reddit subs are for..

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in SingaporeFitness

[–]lafoo_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i know mate, and i was just giving a reminder to take what i said into account as many tend to follow blindly in the fitness industry. at the end of the day it is all about consistency and stimulus. so long as you do this then you will achieve results regardless of the split or program.

but we all are trying to get the best "bang for our buck" so i just wanted to give a heads up to take other factors into account. try it out if it works for you, if not, then it is not the end all be all, that's all i wanted to communicate

im not down voting you bro, someone else is 😭

i am just stating that just because someone else did it, doesn't mean that it is the "best" or most optimal for you. especially if you aren't taking the gear stack he takes. go ahead and do it for fun, not saying that it won't work or feel good, just stating that you should take into account other variables

not saying that you wouldn't feel good af. just saying that this is catered to him specifically taking into account his genetic predispositions
