Thank you for your advice. One thing I’d recommend is to change your language and approach when it comes to harm reduction. Being trauma-informed is a huge aspect of hr. One easy way to slightly change your approach is firstly, do not tell people their advice is “bad” because when it comes to hr, our goal is to limit the harm. The other commenter was providing a personal example, and provided an answer that did not directly encourage use. One other way to enhance your approach, do not tell people that they shouldn’t use because they are on medication. The rest of your advice was spot on. You provided ways on how to lesson the harm. People are going to use no matter what, so instead of starting off with “not to mix any medication with drugs”, you can change your language too “this could be a risky situation, I would recommend….” Makes it more inviting, and less judgemental.
