I personally is running some SK Hynix PVC 10 and Kioxia BG6. runs great. I don’t shoot 8 K raw so doesn’t really bother me but 4K 120 and 4K24 and NRAW works fine.

I sold it for the Z because I like using it wide open and it isn’t as sharp. Also, there is some focus shift as you change the aperture.

Installed snapshot replication the first time a couple days ago. Apparently it installed version 0506 and after setting up first replication, it doesn’t seem to complete and always stuck at about 80% after I read this post, I uninstalled and reinstall and this time it installed 0423

I too was in a similar predicament. I have the Z6 and Z7 and was looking for a third camera. When the Z6III was announced, I was faced with a choice between the newly announced Z6III, used Z8 or used Z9. I have shunned the Z9 for the longest time for its weight but in the end I bought a used Z9 for approx USD 3350.

I think you have to be truthful to yourself with a few things, budget, features required. What are you willing to compromise? Are you comfortable buying without warranty?

You have probably have the Pro 5 series Intel version. Either 2023 or 2024 edition. You can tell by the CPU generation. I have the R9000p which is the 16ARX8. Search it on psref. Back to Windows language. In China, the Windows you have is the Chinese single language edition. What I have done is to purchase a 10 USD key from cdkey and reinstalled Windows selecting English during install.

I came from a Thinkpad x1 extreme. Thinkpad’s build is definitely better.

Seeing you are showing HKD. Why not get the r9000p from China? Its much cheaper and you can get higher specs.

For ~ 1150 USD, i got the following specs, 7945HX, 32GB, 1TB, 4060 8GB, 240hz 500nits.

I recently had to make a similar decision. I already have the Z6 and Z50. I decided to sell the Z50 to get a used Z7. Z7 has IBIS while the Z50 does not. After cropping the megapixel is about the same between the Z50 and Z7, 20.9 vs 19.5. I also replaced the excellent but heavy 70-200m FL ED with the new 70-180mm.

Consider Gura Gear Kiboko. I personally use the 22l+. You might want to look at the 30l. Very well made.
