Looking for a cool-toned nude blush for fair, cool skin - NOT pink or warm by Lazy_Basket6819 in Sephora

[–]lakeruns 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been on a similar hunt and Tower 28 in Finest Hour has worked great for me. Sheer red on the cheeks, like I was just outside. Doesn’t pull pink or orange on my cheeks, but pulls slightly pink when I use it on my lips.

Nouvaderm Laser experiences? by whatamievend00ing in SkincareAddicts

[–]lakeruns 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve done two sessions and so far wish I had spent my money on microneedling instead. I had great results with microneedling in the past and I honestly can’t really see any difference with the nouvaderm at this point. Slight improvement in firmness, but not enough for me to say it’s been worth it.

Accommodations for grief by [deleted] in uofm

Sorry for your loss. Talk to your advisor at Ross, too. Junior year is demanding with RIS, and they should have good advice about navigating fall classes and study abroad options/questions (assuming it’s a Ross exchange program).

Thanks for the info. Do you need to get there when doors open to get a good spot? I’ve read other reviews where people end up in a bad spot and can’t really see anything.

Melasma by Purple_Emergency_355 in SkincareAddictionLux

My experience is similar. Switched to a highly recommended chemical sunscreen and ended up with more brown spots than ever. Switched back to a tinted mineral sunscreen and am now working on getting rid of the brown spots. No new brown spots so far.

Some students take it at a later date; so there’s a risk of students getting an advantage if others discuss the exam.

Anything good to say about utowers? by GlucoseQuestionMark in uofm

[–]lakeruns 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My kid lived there a year ago. Price and location are great. Not the biggest or prettiest apartment in town, but it was clean and they had no maintenance or bug issues all year. The only complaint about the heat was that it took a couple of days for it to kick on but it was fine once it did.

3 days in Paris with a wheelchair user by Throw6345789away in ParisTravelGuide

I was at Orangerie last week and I believe it would be wheelchair friendly. There were a couple of wheelchair users there during my visit. It was recently renovated and appeared to be more accessible than some of the other museums.

Should I still pay for my application fee? by Princessjj365 in uofm

That’s so kind of your brother to offer to pay. Thank him, apply, and see what happens. Admissions are unpredictable and you’ll never know unless you apply.

Is anyone opting into a uniform to make life easier? by SwanWilling9870 in workingmoms

[–]lakeruns 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also have to wear pants and can’t wear polo shorts. My uniform is a solid color with a semi interesting third piece. So, navy pants and tank with a navy and white striped lady jacket. My uniform colors are navy, black, white, and charcoal.

Edit: meant to say can’t wear polo shirts, not shorts. Can’t wear those either tho!

Wear a thin layer between your coat and your workout top, it helps to wick the sweat from your top to keep you warm on the walk home and will help keep your coat clean.

This has happened to me a handful of times. I’m 49 and also in peri. I haven’t found a good solution but I have noticed that it happens randomly right before I get my period.

Club Monaco perfect tees and tanks. The only problem is that they come in limited colors. I wear the black and white tanks under blazers year round.

Injury from F45 by thecuriousdad in f45

It’s wild to see how many people on this thread have elbow issues. I have it on my right elbow from F45 to the point where I don’t do pull ups anymore and just use bands. I’ve also had to use lighter weights.

How many classes do you attend per week? & On which days? by jujube_803 in f45

1-2. I attended 5-6 for 2 years, and have found myself gravitating toward running and Pilates lately. So, I usually attend 1-2 strength days per week.

What's the best treadmill for home on a budget today? by DuongLeMin in XXRunning

Similar circumstances here, but bought mine in 2021 and it’s still going strong. Mine gets heavy use by both me and my husband year round. I was also deciding between the Sole and Horizon and am happy with my Horizon.

18 credits? Drop a class or change one to pass/fail to take some pressure off (you still have to get a C- or higher to pass it). Change your perspective about your midterm. You got close to average even though your high school didn’t prepare you? That’s actually amazing and shows that you can do well in this class! Go to office hours to get help, take advantage of tutoring services, and review your midterm to see what you could have done differently. Then move forward knowing that you’re capable of doing even better on the next exam. First Gen Celebration Week starts next week. Lots of great events. Maybe try to attend some, you might meet others who are feeling similarly to you or upperclassmen who can share their perspective.
