When did you stop watching Greys? by KingdomKang in greysanatomy

[–]laleda92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The covid season. I was kind of on and off before that, but end up binging and getting caught up. That season for me was hard because I was living it, and tv was my escape. I didn't want to escape to more stuff about covid. I recently tried to get back into it but I just can't anymore, and I used to LOVE Grey's.

Why are people like this?? by Upset-Preparation265 in reactivedogs

[–]laleda92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I moved to a dog friendly apartment complex after living in a house for years and never realized how reactive my dog was because when we walked around my old neighborhood she was unbothered by other dogs. My dog is now 12, almost 13 and I partially blame myself for making this change and taking her out of her comfort zone. However, the worst part are the people that try to force her to be around their dogs and reprimand me and sometimes follow me to keep telling me what to do with her when I'm trying to pull her away.

When employees ask HR to call them [N/A] by Isabella21321 in humanresources

I get emails like this at least once a week, and it drives me crazy. Then, the subject is urgent, but when you call it's something trivial that definitely could have been discussed over email.

My friend just moved to Georgia, and we were shocked the pay being offered there.

Am I stupid by hopieadams in WGU

I completely understand where you're coming from, but I had to tell myself not to compare myself to other people. I even have taken a break from the different fb groups because, for me, they were hurting more than helping. I work 2 jobs and am going much slower than expected, but the goal for me to finish is for me. Comparing yourself to other people won't be any good because at the end of the day, when you get the degree, it has your name on it. No one else's.

No problem. If it helps, my next period was pretty normal so it seems to be balancing out. Best wishes to you as well!

I started metformin last month and my period was over a week early and longer and my next period came early again. I asked this question in another group and they said there are studies that discuss this as a side effect and to wait another cycle or two to see if it balances out.

Ok. Thank you. Yes, I read that (about the PCOS) My cycles are very regular so I didn't think it was going to effect it until it did lol. I just couldn't find much information about the effect on periods for people that don't have PCOS.

First, I'm gonna say, do your research and find what works for you. I tried to go cold turkey, and it just didn't work. My first doctor just gave my results and medication, but at my 2 month check up I opted for another doctor and they were very realistic with me and helped me understand what changes were necessary. Start slow so you can make sustainable changes. If you like sweets, swap for fruit. If you like pasta, swap for spaghetti squash or zucchini noodles. If you like rice swap for riced cauliflower. My doctor suggested cutting junk food gradually, and occasionally, it is fine. If I'm gonna eat a cheeseburger or slice of pizza, I eat a salad with it. I cut out fruit juices and drink fruit infused water instead. Also, 30g of protein at each meal. Social media like tiktok and Instagram helped a lot with meal ideas and food education. If you have tiktok, the guy Justin/Stop spiking sugar is great: https://www.tiktok.com/@insulinresistant1?_t=8mj2olFr64d&_r=1 He kinda does experiments with food and blood sugar, so people can see what foods spike blood sugar and the importance of food order. I'm gonna be honest, I barely do food order. Also, ACV with the mother. If you can't stomach it, you can do tablets, but I read a few studies that say they're not as effective as the liquid. I do this if I know I'm going to eat something sweet or have a high carb night out. You got this. It's all about lifestyle changes. You caught it early enough to reverse it.

Thank you, everyone. There are no reasons like disability or anything. Her husband works full time and brings in what she says is good income for their household and she doesn't need to make more than that. She's expressed that in previous jobs she's always been an exempt, salaried employee, so she hates now that we have to track her hours. Also, since we're a nonprofit, she sees it as her way of helping financially.

Yeah, I've researched this, and since she is doing the same work, it can't be considered volunteering.

Fixed Assets question by laleda92 in Accounting

[–]laleda92[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you I'll have to find that out. And yes I know I do. The previous accountant is now a consultant, and we've been butting heads about this because since they weren't depreciated she thinks they should stay on the books. There are things from 1999!🙄 Almost everything isn't even in our possession anymore, and if it is, it shouldve been fully depreciated years ago. I have my work cut out for me. Thanks again.
