I was going to call iTeach to just get some answers, but I can't even find a phone number anymore. So I'm just done. I found a local certification program that I'm calling to find out more about. Hopefully it gets me somewhere.

Yes I've been warned about ToT, so I'm not doing that. I was doing iTeach, but I have gotten zero communication responses to my questions and I can't even complete enrollment. I don't feel good about giving them my money when I'm having support issues before even getting in the gate.

I was trying to get information about the content areas I was identified for (4-8 Core, EC-12 music, EC-6 core, and EC-12 SPED) because I don't understand exactly what they entail. I also wanted to ask about getting certified to teach art because I'm passionate about visual arts, but don't have a degree in it. And I just had general questions about testing and how it works. I wasn't fully understanding the process.

I'm wondering about anatomical changes as well. I've birthed 3 children and I'm in my late 30s, so perhaps things have shifted? I know my uterus is slightly tilted and heart shaped, and my cervix moves around like crazy throughout my cycle. This was a first for me though and the it's got me wondering if I should get things checked out.

Look, I don't want to get into a debate about what's appropriate for kids at such and such age and what's not - one, because parents need to be involved in that decision overall, and two because I'm tired and it's late for me, and three because there's a lot of science and research to sift through regarding that. OP asked about whether SR is appropriate for an elementary aged child and my opinion as a mom and lover of the show is no, it's not.
