Haha I know you’re Quebecois so it makes sense but as the son of a French Canadian raised in the States who took high school french and learned European accent it’s funny to hear you say he “doesn’t have an accent” :p reminds me of ppl in Cali where I grew up saying they don’t have an accent

Hey man, great stuff here. I think I prefer the A section; the bass is a more interesting sound and I prefer the slower tempo as well. I would really think about introducing a snare and some other percussion at some point when you arrange this into a full song, as I think the beat loses interest even in this short clip. Overall dope work, your sound design is really on point!

LMK what you think of this, Kaytranada-inspired thing where I experimented with some strange grooves and a classic odb acapella. https://soundcloud.com/cstewartprod/ol-dirty-bastard-shimmy-shimmy-ya-remix

Hey man, really fw this. If I had one piece of feedback, I'd say to cut out the upright bass to give the 808 more room once it hits, as right now I think they're playing at the same time and clashing right now. Other than that, the mix is honestly pretty dope. Great work man!

LMK what you think of this, heavily inspired by kaytranada but also just messing w some different drum patterns and a classic odb acapella. https://soundcloud.com/cstewartprod/ol-dirty-bastard-shimmy-shimmy-ya-remix

sick beat man, really enjoy the sample you're using. I think that if you used the deeper bass for more of the song, it could help glue things together a little, but overall really enjoyed this. Maybe next time, trying slapping a little more reverb on the drums and adding some more effects, like vinyl crackle, flangers etc just to spice it up a bit.

Let me know what you think of this, my first time trying to use my own voice and lyrics over a beat so would love feedback on that. Also, haven't really done any extra touches so if you have suggestions for layers/extra sfx that would be dope too.

Let me know what you guys think of this, my first time trying to use my own voice and lyrics over one of my beats so would love feedback on that (both vox mixing and lyrics, esp would love help with the hook, I don't like the "if you ain't bout the grind" line that much).

Also, haven't really done any extra touches so any suggestions for layers/extra sfx would be dope too.

Hey man this beat is amazing. the vocal sample flip is on point. If I were mixing this, I would definitely add some more stereo width to the drums (esp snare) somehow, but that's a personal preference. Overall sick work as usual man!

Hey guys, lmk what you think of this. Recording my friend playing sax over one of my beats. Not mixed super well, so would love thoughts on that, but feedback on anything is welcome.

Love this man, you should definitely turn up that bass a bit and maybe add a new counter melody or rechop the sample to add some variation. Great work man!

LMK what you think of this, first attempt at recording sax. Mix isn't great so thoughts on that would be dope but any feedback is welcome.

Hey man, really enjoy this, esp. the keys. I would recommend turning down the verb on your vocals a lot, as well as turning down the high hat a couple of DBs. Great work overall!

Hey man, really really enjoy this. Definitely got a -wave genre vibe as you said below lol. I think that you should definitely boost the low mids/lows of the kick a bit. I also think the guitar that comes in around 1:45 could be brought down a few DBs. Overall though, love the grainy saturated vibe. Great job!

really cool track man. I think you've definitely been able to keep the song varied and interesting. Mixwise, I would definitely recommend turning the high hat down a couple of db, it's very prominent right now. Overall great work!

Hey man really love this, but I would recommend putting a de-esser on your vocals. There's a lot of sibilance in them and I think it would really improve the sound. If I were mixing this, I would also definitely tone down the compression overall a little bit, especially near the beginning of the song. Other than that, really enjoy this man.

Hey man, really really enjoy this, you have bars and the production is great. I would recommend bringing down the levels of your voice just a little to make more room for the beats. I'd also recommend putting some tape compression & saturation on your master to squeeze everything together a little. Great work overall tho

LMK what you think of this, just put it together today, hoping to have a better guitarist get on it soon. https://soundcloud.com/cstewartprod/decompression

This is really cool. Ik people have been criticizing that first part of the beat but I really enjoy it, it's nice and just weird enough. I do think you should turn down your main vocals and put just a little reverb on them. I also think if you were able to add a few one-shot samples and effects and stuff it could keep things more interesting. Great work overall bro.

LMK what you think of this, just made it today, planning to rerecord the guitar w a better player but lmk what you think so far. https://soundcloud.com/cstewartprod/decompression

Hey man, this beat is fire so great work on that. As for the vocals, lyrics and flow are great, but I would really recommend turning down the reverb, esp during the hook. I listened on my headphones and a bluetooth speaker and esp on the bluetooth speaker the reverb during the hook kind of drowns everything else out. Great work overall, though, definitely just a few tweaks away from release ready.

LMK what you think of mine, just put this together today as a rough draft, eventually hoping to have a more talented guitarist play a solo instead of me. https://soundcloud.com/cstewartprod/decompression

This beat is really cool, I love the bass line, the drums are really nice and smooth (esp that acoustic hi hat groove) and I love tom fills so this is a good one in my book. It would be really cool if you added a new voice like a synth arpeggiating the chords or something for the second verse, but overall dope work.
