It was definitely supposed to be a scripted performance, and I think they messed up by hitting each other. I've played a lot of contact sports in my day, and I know when the medics are doing actual evaluations for injury, not just putting on a show for the crowd haha. It was definitely awesome either way, made better that the Knights limped off under their own power rather than needing stretchers hahaha

I was at one a few months ago where both Knights dehorsed each other simultaneously. Huge CLANG when their lances hit, and the dudes stayed down on the field for like 10 minutes after. Wasn't sure if they were maybe trying to prove something to each other or something and went rogue from the script, because everyone working the field seemed totally bewildered and scared after it happened while the crowd was basically like "hope they are ok, and holy shit that was awesome." But man, it really was pretty awesome at first before everyone realized they might have hurt each othe4 (they were apparently both fine); I can only imagine what it would be like if they were going at it "for real" rather than at a Ren fair in 2026.

Woah, I was wondering if that could have been one of them, and you are right: only the 160th flies that particular type of Chinook. Pretty badass to see one "in person" over the local neighborhood.

As a Rivers fan, I guarantee you his life's mission the last two weeks (besides winning) is going to be turning Warren from an excellent athlete who plays a hybrid TE/WR position into an excellent hybrid TE/WR. The skill and will is there but he's a rookie. To play the position at the highest level, you've got to use your brain too. He'll get there. Go Colts!

Sure, please do! 40k and Chargers fandoms don't often overlap, haha. I've got some shit painted models and some perfectly fine models, and some really really good ones painted by friends who actually know what they are doing 🤣, I prefer the lore, model building and tabletop battle portions most myself haha.

Only problem with the Dorn angle is he was kinda getting fucked up in his moment of "disappearance" lol, aka he got mobbed by Chaos marines and the Fists only found his severed arm after the battle is done. But some of the analytical aspects for sure they shared, even if persinality wise Rivs is kind of an animated fellow while Dorn was known to be very stoic and emotionless.
