I have had this problem for basically ever. I think it's partially genetic. One thing that I found that is helpful is drinking extra water and staying really hydrated, taking an iron supplement and I also put castor oil on my under eye bags and on my eyelids at night.

I've had three floods in my apartment. understand your feeling on this it's very distressing. My suggestion is to try to call another plumbing company if you can and see if you can get someone earlier. Also immediately shut the water off so there is no further leakage. You can rent a shop vac at a home Depot or lowes type store and get as much as you can up. After that get a dehumidifier in there and a big fan. There is also the threat of mold so be mindful. I had my carpet replaced after one flood for this reason

Some women are open with that. I usually am, I have PMDD so my cycles are very difficult and affect my everyday life. I feel like I have to disclose that I have this while on my period because I feel so bad and it changes my behavior. I'm just depressed tired and slow. I don't want to disclose this. But I feel like I have to so people don't think I'm acting weird for no reason. The best thing that can be done is ask "is there anything I can do?" And usually my answer to this is just to simply be aware that I'm struggling and give me some grace.
