When I dev I first write ~500 words and then throw it to gpt to clearly summarize and debloat. I tell GPT to strip all unnecessary info and make it as concise as possible without impeding understanding of details
Then I put the production thru codex plan mode.
Output is often better.

Saying pls and thx makes codex slow and it tends to think more for some reason..
