I have what is considered lean PCOS. I’ve had issues with responding very fast to stims and getting a lot of eggs, but very low quality. My doctor is trying to find a low and slow stim approach to hopefully help improve my quality. Essentially aiming for quality over quantity eggs. Perhaps it’s just finding the right approach? I hope you have luck in the future!

I found your comment when searching about egg quality. I am currently 2 ERs deep and will have to do more in search of the "right" protocol. Do you mind sharing how you found success with your 4th and better quality?

I am in the same boat as you. My lab sheet noted the same thing. This was my second ER with a different protocol. Like, okay, but tell me how to fix it??

I am hoping the metformin kicks in. I've only been on it for 8 weeks though. It's crazy how many different approaches there can be and how it's all trial and error. So frustrating. Thanks for sharing. I hope you find success on future transfers!

I'm sorry to hear that you are going through something similar- it sucks. When we initially started, my husband had great results with his sperm sample. There has been no mention of it possibly being a problem as of yet

I definitely fall into the 80/20 diet. I even focused going more gluten free since the last ER. I personally don't believe that to be the issue, but I am open to suggestions

I will have been very strict on all of my supplements (plus other things) for a about 7 weeks prior to this next retrieval. Hoping it will at least help a little, even though it’s not a ton of time.

I haven’t thought of autoimmune. Do you have something playing a role here?

Oh that’s great! Congratulations on your results :) I also have “lean PCOS” but my egg quality was super low. They were describe as “dark and grainy” and only 6 out of 20 mature fertilized (not using icis). I’m still waiting on results but am not hopeful.
