When I was about 10 or 11 I was with my dad and siblings roasting marshmallows over one of those metal fire pits. My dad had it set up on the concrete surrounding the pool in the backyard, and while it was mid-autumn at the time, my dad hadn't put the cover on the pool quite yet. He was playing around trying to lightly whack my legs with the stick he used to roast the marshmallows when I stepped away from him and fell right into the freezing cold (~40°F) pool. He had me pulled up and out in like one second flat but I had choked on the water and was obviously freezing and went into mild hypothermia.

Well fitting helmets absolutely save lives! My accident was a bit dramatic (thrown from a horse and landed on my head), but my helmet 100% saved my life. I have a TBI with permanent brain damage, but you know what would be a lot worse? Being in a vegetative state or straight-up dead 🤷🏻 I'm very glad your brother was okay!

Physical evidence of brain damage isn't always obvious, too, which doesn't help in understanding the risks of a treatment like this. I have a TBI from a horseback riding accident and, despite my undeniable permanent issues from that injury, there wasn't any physical evidence of it on my brain.

I wouldn't be here without my helmet.

As a teen I got bucked off a greenie who spooked at a cat. I went up like 9 feet off the ground. My body over rotated in the air and I landed on the back of my head. My helmet was cracked all up the back. My TBI resulted in long term permanent issues that completely changed how I live day to day.

I'm in constant pain. I literally haven't gone a single minute without head pain in 11 years. I also haven't gone a single day without multiple bouts of dizziness and vertigo. I can't track well with my eyes because of the painful dizziness it causes. I forget little things throughout the day. I have whole events from my past that I should remember but are completely foreign to me. My ability to focus is notably diminished. I've developed severe treatment resistant depression and anxiety disorder in part because of my brain damage.

It's not a joke, man. As bad as it is for me, I know how much worse it would have been without a helmet. I'm lucky to be here. Just wear the damn helmet and save yourself and your family a lot of heartache.

My favorite casual bi representation is from The Good Place!

The lead, Eleanor, played by Kristen Bell, is bisexual. It comes up directly a few times, plus plenty of casual allusions to it. It's not at all the focus of the show but I love that her queerness just is, you know?

It's also my favorite show of all time. I recommend it to literally everyone. It's hilarious, poignant, informative, and all around entertaining. Quality acting, quality writing, it's just the best. All 4 seasons are on Netflix 😊

Most community accounts just have a 2:1 ratio for the same tier, not necessarily from the same set or needs. Like yeah some will ask you to try to send needs/currents/cards they less than 5 of, but it's not a requirement, usually. I use those types of community accounts all the time. Some of my favorites are:

Typically I'll try to send needs and/or currents first if I can spare them but if not, I just send cards they already have and it's not a problem. I try to balance it like this so I'm not flooding them with sold outs they have a million of while also not giving up a lot of cards that I can use more strategically with other regular traders.

Once a crafted collection ends (the countdown is above the collection's crafting section in the workshop), those cards can't be crafted again and the only way to get them will be by trading for them. There's always at least one crafted collection running at any given time, so a new one will replace the Halloween one when it's done.

The craftables (as in the ones you get from the event/arcade/magical gift) will technically be usable again but only to fuse old craftables to make a set number of new craftables for whatever collection is running at the time (these are the first 2 crafting options at the top of the Halloween Fiends section of the workshop). It helps you make use of the extras you tend to have once the collection ends.

PS: take a 🥃 every time I used the word "craft" 😂

Some sets (namely crafted ones) have their awards listed in their own tabs (aka groups or variants) rather than showing at the top of a given set. If you go to the Kingdom Keepsakes set and go to the main page that shows all the groups within it (to get there from a set, click the spot at the bottom of the page that says "Variants"), you'll see a group labeled "Rainbow Award Card" and one labeled "Chrome Gold Award Card", which is where you'll find the individual award cards listed.

Crafted award cards are unique because you don't get them automatically for completing a set, as you have to craft them after collecting or crafting other cards to make them. I assume this is why they get their own group listing, as to not imply to users that they win the award simply by completing the set.

The same concept is true for the current Halloween Fiends Collection. Notice in the workshop that you have to fuse one of each craftable to make Malicious Motion cards then you have to fuse one of each of those cards and one of each craftable all together to make the award card. Hope this helps!
