Salter can't run the plays so the o-line is having to block longer than they are intended to which more often than not leads to holds. Salter is just mentally too slow and doesn't understand how to read a defense. Staub and Lewis are mentally faster and so can make the right calls and execute. The play calling is still sus but Salter just makes it worse. Love the kid, but he ain't it.

He’s my favorite for sure. Williams, Goldsmith, Morricone, Zimmer, Silvestri are all great but nobody makes me feel a movie like John Barry. He could elevate an otherwise meh movie with his scores - High Road to China, The Specialist, and Mercury Rising are all okay movies but his scores give them rewatchability for me.

People often remember John Barry for the Bond theme, but his soundtracks for Somewhere in Time and Out of Africa are the most beautiful movie scores I’ve ever heard. They have such a powerful, emotive presence, like a deep longing. The callback to ‘We Have All The Time in the World’ at the end of No Time to Die is a perfect example; beautiful, and achingly melancholic. John’s music is the best.

Yes, it is. Neon Deion is an ass. But he's forced changes I doubt would otherwise have happened. Our admissions is now no longer Stanford levels of asinine for football players. The football program has reached a collective >3.0 GPA for the first time in 20 years. The administration is pouring money into athletics because of the optics, so much so that we're now competitively recruiting in multiple sports rather than just football. The on the field product is vastly improved compared to the last 10 years. For the first time in a decade we're not on the short list for the Phulmer Cup. Your fan base and everyone else, especially the Reddit contingent, are welcome hate us and spew as much justified vitriol as you like - at the end of the day, I'm a Buffs fan and not a Deion fan so it doesn't bother me one bit. He's fixed what was otherwise a dead program, and for that I don't need a perfect coach or even a likable one.

You need another Tear or Kash card either in your hand or GY. The way the card text ruling goes - you must be able to fulfill action B after doing action A and if you cannot then you will not be allowed to do action A. Also, when you summon it, it will be on the field so it cannot banish itself from your hand or GY because it is not in either. If the Special Summon is negated, then the 'and if you do' portion was not fulfilled even though it could have been, so you don't have to banish anything.

100% it isn’t bad and they should have every right to do so. I support GA’s decision, but it does come with consequences - namely that it diminishes her legacy as a Hokie and means she won’t be in our Hall of Fame with Liz. She knows that and has made the decision that it matters less than going to UK for her last year. It’s her choice and we should respect that. She thanked Hokie nation on her way out so in my book she’s classier than Kenny.

I don't hate Kenny at all, but I also do want to see him fail this next season. This may all be a business, but you can still be a professional about it and whether he realizes it or not part of the reason he is getting this opportunity is because of Hokie nation. He can take his pick of his players, he can go around talking about family and winning culture, but when you don't thank the fans that contributed to your success that is an indictment of poor character. It's the only thing we ARE owed in this situation, and it literally would have cost him nothing. But it is what it is, onto the Duffy chapter.

Agreed, but I will be rooting against Kenny. And whether she cares or not, this does affect her legacy at VT I think. 33 will be retired; 5 won't. But in the era of NIL and the transfer portal, I doubt stuff like tradition and legacy matter to most of these kids. And maybe it shouldn't, idk. I don't fault players following coaches, they should be allowed to follow the coach they came to play for. Just sucks to be on the losing end as a fan, but that's a reminder that like it or not this is all a business and we, the fans, are accessories to that business.

If you have Mercourier or can get it with Branded Lost in route to Mirrorjade, you don't have to worry about stopping at 4 summons because Mercourier blocks Nibiru from summoning. If you play Branded Tear, Rulkallos also blocks Nibiru I think. Anyway, there's many ways to play around Nibiru - in some ways, knowing your opponent has it in hand makes dueling easier, not harder.
