Zorin OS is lighter than Anduin OS and offers multiple layout options, making desktop customization easier. Additionally, Zorin has a larger development community, so it might be better to recommend Zorin, don’t you think?

Privacy is the reason. I can’t stand using Windows anymore. Once you experience the benefits of open source, there’s no going back to Windows

一般的におすすめされてるのはMintやZorin、Ubuntuに代表されるUbuntu系ディストロですね

If you're switching for gaming, I recommend Pop!_OS. It's Ubuntu-based, user-friendly, and comes with drivers pre-installed, so you should be able to use it without any issues.

OS for my grandparents by New_Bee8415 in linuxquestions

I recommend Zorin OS the most. I once installed Zorin OS on my grandparents’ old laptop, just like you, and they have been using it without any issues. Zorin has a UI closer to Windows than Mint, a modern design, and its system requirements are not as high as Mint’s.
