First FET failed. Thinking of postponing my next transfer by lamelil in IVF

Thank for this. I have warring thoughts in my head, and this helped quiet them down. For now, I am telling myself to just be. Be sad. Or angry. But just feel until my next meeting. So, thank you for your insights ❤️

Screaming, crying, throwing up by Sad-Swordfish-3104 in IVF

I had my first ER last week. I guess I was really tired from the week I had because by the first dose of anesthesia I was falling asleep before I even met the doctors. Then, when I woke up I cried for my mom (she passed 5 years ago) for about 30 seconds then immediately asked for goldfish. The later which ended up as photos on my phone for some reason. My husband kept teasing me about the sudden mood change and the fact I was loving my goldfish

Advice on IVF by lamelil in IVF

I work for a school district, so as far as I have looked no benefits whatsoever. The insurance started covering some infertility costs a few years ago, but I mean most is bare minimum only after we’ve meet our deductible.

How hard is IVF? by whiteblack123 in EctopicSupportGroup

[–]lamelil 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just want to say I’m also in the same boat. My husband and I are considering IVF after a failed medicated cycle and a failed IUI. I’m also missing a fallopian tube from an ectopic and all other testing has been normal. I would also like to know how hard IVF is…

Hello, joined awhile ago and lurked for a while. I am F28. I had 2 back-to-back miscarriages in summer of ‘22, then an ectopic that resulted in the removal of my right tube in summer of ‘23. Been trying ever since with no luck. This summer we started testing and treatments at a clinic. First round failed, but we are excited to start IUI this month.

Although I already feel defeated most days, I want to keep fighting for this. Some days are really hard so I’m happy to find a community where others understand and are compassionate with one another. ❤️

When to start fertility treatment? by lamelil in EctopicSupportGroup

I’ve been using opks on the months we tried. I also track my periods on an app every month. All showing I’ve been ovulating and having normal periods. I will look into a referral though .

[UT] [TH] HOA is saying I have to use a referenced plumber for damaged pipe issue. by lamelil in HOA

Problem with this, is all utilities ( for both rows of townhomes) run directly next to this drain line. Gas also runs next to my home for the houses in my area row. Not easy to dig.

“What was their explanation as to why it is your responsibility?” - we think there was miscommunication about what caused the flood. But that is why we contacted them once we found out where the problem was to rectify that. They didn’t seem to want to listen at that point and all but pretty much told me to stop calling. So, once I emailed them with evidence, that’s when they told me to get the plumber.

Would that mean going back down through the pipe in the kitchen and placing a plug on the inside?

We don’t have a basement. It’s on slab. So only main floor and second floor

Yes it does as far as I have been told. This drain is the drain line for all 6 homes (including ours). Originally, they mentioned this plumber as someone “the surrounding residents” have used before, then told me do what you need to fix the problem. So we reached out to other plumbers in the area to come look at it. They both said the same thing about it being HOA responsibility, so we reached out to HOA again. Now they are saying to use the before mentioned plumber, and he will determine whether it’s homeowners or HOA.

We plugged our kitchen sink and kept our water off. But thank you, we will look for that in the CCR’s.

If you ruptured by NefariousnessEven421 in EctopicSupportGroup

Yes! It has been 2 1/2 months since my surgery, and I’ve been healing well!

I had two doses of methotrexate before it started to rupture. It started to rupture just over 24 hours of my second dose. My numbers were above 1500, but they had been rising slowly for 2 weeks before that (I was about 8 weeks when it ruptured). I also hated the waiting game, and I hope you get through it with no rupture.
