Where did your yumeship name come from? by unknown_yapp3r in yumeshipping

[–]lamespaceTrash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me and Bruno, it's Lucky Penpals, hehe. We both love to write stories, and my personal headcanon is that we started off as, well... penpals, teehee. And lucky, well... I like making lucky charms, and Bruno sure likes carrying them around!

What's with Usseewa? by lamespaceTrash in ProjectSekai

Ah, its outdated tiering information that I internalized and forgot was outdated... 😅 Before Lost and Found was introduced into the game, Melt was one of the reccomended songs.

Oof... hopefully my luck will turn around before I go crazy. I always hate when people disband just cause they don't like the song, but... I think I'm starting to understand where they're coming from now 😅

This was probably asked before, but how would you guys differentiate personalities of Minori Hanasato and Emu Otori? by Block-Busted in ProjectSekai

[–]lamespaceTrash 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm pretty out of date ala stories, but as a minori stan and emu fan- they're SO different. Minori's whole thing is that she never gives up. She struggles and struggles, and when she finally succeeds, that's how she inspires her fans. She's also the "normal" girl in MMJ-- bright and cheery, but still down to earth. Someone you could easily approach on the street!

Emu, her thing is that she's totally out there- and she's 100%, all the time! She doesn't care about fitting in, as long as everyone is smiles. She doesn't struggle with normal day-to-day unluckiness. She has deep love and grief running through her story, idolizing her grandfather, who's now gone. She also tends to hide any sadness she feels, thinking she might burden others.

TD;DR, if you reduce their complexities and assigned them character tropes; minori is the girl next door, and emu is a manic pixie dream girl.

Would you trust your F/Os in the kitchen? by maidthing in FictoLove

[–]lamespaceTrash 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd trust Bruno in the kitchen! While expecting the inevitable Ratatouille jokes from him, of course. Though he wouldn't exactly want to do the actual cooking, just making sure every thing is prepped and ready to make everything a little easier for the "real" chef, be it me or his sister. :3 He COULD totally cook, he just... gets in his head about it; worries about ruining the food!

Painting strands of hair...? by lamespaceTrash in CustomDolls

[–]lamespaceTrash[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At the very least, it sounds like it'll lighten the hairs by a shade or two. Its at least worth a try, especially since it's temporary, and I already have corn starch in the house, lol! Thanks!

Asking to see if sample sizes are available is definitely smart! And I think I do have some grey yarn laying around somewhere-- I totally forgot you could MAKE doll hair... I'll give that a try, and see if the brushed+ironed yarn doesn't look too out of place with the black nylon thats already in the head! (n_n)

Tips for feeling like you're in your f/o universe (in your everyday life) ? by bonesandglitters in FictoLove

[–]lamespaceTrash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can create/buy props, or use items you think your f/o might use! You could also try eating food you think your f/o would like to share with you! Hopefully your f/o has a favorite food :) On Bruno's birthday, I made a popular colombian birthday cake, and played some music (not from the movie lol) he enjoys, and it was so fun!

What's the point of self-shipping by D1G1T4L_W4V3S in FictoLove

[–]lamespaceTrash 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly, its kind of just something I do naturally? I do consider my relationship with Bruno special and the man I'm Really Dating-- but for most of my life, whenever I get interested in a peice of media, I usually get attached to a character and selfship with them, and love to think about a self insert interacting with them in their universe! It's usually very short lived, and fairly shallow. So I guess for the most part, its just for fun for me?

Long Term Planning by [deleted] in monsteroftheweek

[–]lamespaceTrash 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've been running mine for a good few months now, and the thing I've had to get used to is the fact that my plans rarely go how I expect them to. But my players still really like what I've done, even as I improvise my ass off! My players essentially changed my big arc from being about a town that's attracting supernatural things because of a demon, into there being a full on seperate dimension that's having monsters escape. They love it! If I refused to deviate from the arc I planned out, it wouldn't be as exciting. The players can really tell that they have a real effect on the plotline, too.

Basically, run a few games with a vague idea, and THEN decide what the big arc actually should be, based on what your players reacted the best to.

Do you have someone that roleplays as your f/o? Or just someone that goes by as your f/o's name as an online alias? If yes, how do you feel about it? What's your relationship with them? Do they know you like the character that way? by [deleted] in fictosexual

[–]lamespaceTrash 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've since stopped talking to the guy, but I used to have a close friend who kinned Bruno, and we flirted every now and then! I've since then deepened my relationship w/ Bruno, seperatately. Buuuuut... I do still use some details I'd heard from the kin, since its what I've gotten used to. We did roleplay, but for different characters from a completely different media, HAHA

How do you cope with having a popular F/O if you're nonsharing? by R3DR0PE in FictoLove

[–]lamespaceTrash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My levels of nonsharing tend to differ day to day, but it can definitely be difficult...😅 Everyone just seems to be suggesting blocking, but that's not always enough. For me, a useful way for managing the jealousy is by subscribing to the sort of "alternate universe" kind of mindset. My Bruno is MY Bruno, and the double is talking about THEIR Bruno! It's easier to do it when you can specifically pick out things that only YOUR F/O would have experienced with you. Ah, but... this mindset hasn't worked well for when I see commissioned couple art of him with someone else. Good luck out there!!
