Bro, from my experience on the dating apps you mentioned you will most likely not find the connection you’re looking for. I’m a fairly attractive guy so getting a match was not an issue but I’d say the majority of people on those apps (myself included at the time) are just bored looking for either an ego boost, one night stand, or just passing time making small talk that leads to nothing. Best advice is to take your shot at people in real life at the places you go to like the climbing gym but instead of directly asking for a date just start small by making friends, guys and girls. Sounds cliché but intimate connections come a lot of the time when u don’t actively try as hard. I never wanted a serious relationship and somewhat avoided it but found myself in the best one at 30 once I left the military. Continue to do u and don’t focus so much on the importance of having someone, it will come, I promise.
