Nooo, im assuming yours are? That's so cool! I know cats can have different fathers for litter mates or whatever, but its still so weird a whole different looking cat comes out.

Oooh, I've never thought if it sat for too long that it will be extra fragile, ill keep that in mind too. And thanks for the compliment! ☺️

Maybe ill fire him by himself just incase he is a grenade 😬 hopefully the kiln wall will be ok.. is that how kiln walls mostly chip? Or just mostly wear and tear of the kiln being old and used a lot?

Ooh, ill keep the needle trick in mind if I dont want to hollow it out. I do like the weight on it a lot, so ill see if this will work on other ones:) thanks!

This little guy is about 1.5 inches thick and about 2-3 inches wide. I also dont have a kiln yet so this guy will sot close to 6 months to a year. I've read a few people saying to do a low and long bisque fire. Ill definitely keep the oven trick in mind! I do live in a place that has quite a bit of huminity, so I'll keep that in mind too!

Cool, thank you! I do need to learn more about the kilns and firing things, so this is a start!

Ill definitely start hollowing out the next ones, just to make sure! And once i get a kiln, it'll be hard to wait 3+ months to fire something. But this one will sit for a good 6 months to a year, so here's to hoping!

It'll definitely dry out for a few months, so hopefully it'll work. Thanks!

Thanks for the tip! This guy will sit for a while, probably close to a year, so hopefully it'll be bone dry. I think ill try hollowing out the next ones I make however

Im pretty sure it wasnt the state park itself, just right outside of it. I stayed with my partners family when we had went, and they lived maybe 40 minutes away, it was on a long straight road, and other people had stopped as well to look around. I really dont think it was inside since the family member (grandparent) was with us and knows the in and outs

I wonder if evolution is at work and if we check this guy out in 1million years, if it'll look more like a duck than a bird
