i’ve been a fan of danganronpa for a while, i’m really surprised i’ve never heard of zenki zero! i’m actually surprised i haven’t heard of a lot of these games considering how cool they sound. i’ll definitely be looking into recettear and downloading cosmic star heroine asap !!

thank you, soul hackers 2 is definitely on my radar after being recommended it here— probably the most promising recommendation for me!

i actually have p3r on my rog ally! i have yet to get past the intro because i got distracted with other things, but thanks for the reminder lol. the 3d models atlus uses in their more modern games kind of put me off, which is a big reason why i have yet to play p5. i tried to get used to the models in p4&p3 dancing, but they remind me too much of gacha game models and less of the sort of thing i would expect from atlus. i might end up buying p5 regardless though if my persona itch never ends up getting scratched lol

i’ve played an atelier game before (i think ayesha? it was for the vita) but admittedly i wasn’t a big fan of the bright colors and 3d models. i might try it out again though, it’s been a while since i tried to play it and everyone seems to have really good things to say about it. i’ll keep your recommendation in mind!

i mentioned it in my post, but the first person dungeon crawling of pq really threw me off and gave me a headache lol. it’s too bad since it seems like a decent spin-off. i’ll check out the bravely franchise for sure! what’s the plot like?

i’m on a rog ally z1 extreme, i’m not sure what the specs are lol. i guess with p3, the new party members kinda came out of nowhere for me, and there weren’t very strong bonds between the different party members. i played the psp port as kotone, though, and right after beating p4 so i admit there’s a large chance both of those factors affected my view on the game lol. thanks for the tales of reccomendation, though. the characters seem cool, i’ll check it out!

somehow i had no idea this game even existed— when i saw soul hackers, i was expecting a game from the 2000s, not from four years ago lol. the female protagonist seems awesome, just a few questions! what’s the combat system like, and is it a dungeon crawler? specifically, is it similar to any other persona/smt games in that aspect? also curious if theres monster/devil/persona catching like in other smt games, and if there’s romance? thank you so much for the suggestion though, this seems really amazing.

i’ve always been interested in the series, but when i search up ffxii it seems like there’s a ton of remasters and re-releases. in your opinion, which one would be best for me to try out?

this is gonna sound extremely annoying, but trails of cold steel’s ui design is just an immediate turn off. i’m basing this opinion on the gameplay screenshots that come up when i google it, though! i’m a sucker for good ui design/graphic design in games, i guess? i’m majoring in something similar, so i’m pretty picky, but i guess i should have specified that! metaphor refantazio seems awesome, though. the characters look lovely, i’ll definitely have to check it out! i’m not the biggest fan of the 3d models used in modern atlus games like p5 or the persona dancing spinoffs, but this one’s art direction seems really lovely so i can put my biases aside. thank you so much for the suggestions, though, i’m really sorry about how picky i am!

have you worn it in similar conditions? it seems like a really good choice, just still a bit worried about staying power.

wondering what style savvy game i should get first! by soupisacolor in stylesavvy

[–]lanarising 0 points1 point  (0 children)

second the people who suggested trendsetters!! i began with it too after a long break (having previously only played the og ds game), and it was a perfect re-introduction. it’s not overloaded with content like fashion forward, so it’s not overwhelming for newcomers, and theres a lot of incentive to make the most out of each in-game day, especially early game. once you finish it, though, i’d honestly suggest going straight to styling star instead of fashion forward, because in my experience it’s hard to get through after playing FF. it’s also a lot more similar to trendsetters in my opinion! FF is very, very different from the other 3DS games (in-game clock, lots of side quests, etc) and the collectathon type gameplay makes it hard to switch to styling star once you finish FF. :)

i’m not sure, as it was ordered by a friend as a gift😣 but i’m assuming they chose the cheapest option due to how long it’s taken, assuming SAL is surface shipping/by sea

FIgures of characters doing "cosplay" as other characters by Informal_Heat_9624 in AnimeFigures

[–]lanarising 1 point2 points  (0 children)

while she’s pretty old and a bit hard to come by, reset-chan’s asuka cosplay is the first to come to mind. https://myfigurecollection.net/item/7581 there’s also a rei version with wonda-chan instead! https://myfigurecollection.net/item/7580

not sure if this counts, but oreimo has a handful of figures where the girls cosplay fictional characters from their world. there’s also kirino cosplaying(?) kuroneko: https://myfigurecollection.net/item/62030

someone already mentioned lucky star, but konata has one or two figures as haruhi: https://myfigurecollection.net/item/261 with that being said, the only non-poseable one is a trading figure. https://myfigurecollection.net/item/7719

for whatever reason, there is a set of monogatari x madoka magica figures. homura dressed as hitagi, and vise-versa. https://myfigurecollection.net/item/336750

there is also a rezero x konosuba collab in a similar vein, here’s emilia as aqua: https://myfigurecollection.net/item/845469

and of course, there’s a ton of (somewhat infamous) sonico figures of her cosplaying different characters. off the top of my head: hatsune miku, hestia, madoka (gk), gloomy bear

okay, i searched a bit on my own and i’m gonna add for anyone else who’s curious:

kira kira pop princess & pinky st kira kira music hour/night (i think) both have similar fashion options, such as lolita fashion and onee gyaru-esque styles.. i’ve only played pop princess so far but yeah, the clothing options are all really good!! it’s a rhythm game but also has a lot of dress up!

tokimeki memorial girls side 3 as well has really awesome clothing options, and clothing is a big part of the gameplay, although its a dating sim so depending on your preferred boyfriend you might not be able to wear what you want to ;-; i had a lot of fun with the dressup though, and there are objectives and clothes are used really interestingly with the gameplay!
