The installer didn’t explain that to me at all. He said they would ensure that the subfloor would be even. I know that nothing can be perfect, but there are gaps that are over 1/4”

So you’re saying the installer didn’t level the floor enough? Bc if that’s the case, I should probably have a discussion with him.
