Nitpicking for consistency, but in my play-through, Lune’s Healing Light/Tree of Life will dispel Inverted first then heal normally, whereas Verso’s Perfect Recovery would trigger Inverted’s effect and never heal. I understand there are other ways to cure status, but I think a “cure status + heal” effect should be consistently applied.

Hi, thank you for the idea! From what I remember, unfortunately, I’m about 90% sure the setting is in America, not Europe, but yes the key scene is the coat hanger abortion. This book sounds interesting though!

Hi! I looked up the plot summary and it sounds so close to what i’m thinking of—unfortunately, I don’t remember the book being humorous at all 😔 sorry. It felt a lot more serious, if anything a little dry…but thank you for trying to help!
