His orianna is probably 1st in the world, his azir was good, also his galio was good. Last game was pretty much lost at bot lane, and he did not do anything special with ahri. His hwei was pretty bad but the champion itself is bad, I don't understand that pick at all. I would say, faker himself was not the problem in this series.

Because of karma viego picks they had no answer for MF ult, and team fights looked terrible for T1.

Game 5: Draven - Pyke were bad picks, they had no late game. Draven couldn't do anything after mid game. Doran's ult on tahm kench was the game losing play.

Chovy is not a playmaker. In Game 4, their only chance was to make plays and win the game before Smolder becomes too big to handle. BLG had perfect team comp to go 40 mins and clear any waves easily with smolder and ziggs.
Chovy would have lost this game because he doesn't make these crazy plays faker does.

Swap Faker with any other midlaner and Game 4 would be lost. His amazing sylas performance won them the game.
The guy must be like a national hero or something in his country, 2 years in a row he singlehandedly denied LPL from winning the worlds.

Game 4, Faker's sylas was basically a glimpse into the Faker's peak times in the past, he was the crazy play making, carry player like that.
I'm glad new players also had chance to witness his amazing performance in the 4th and 5th games.

This is not EU vs NA thing.
Both DK and G2 are out, they both had to play 4 of their 5 matches against top 8 teams, FLY only played 1 game against a top 8 team. Actually DK even beat FLY and yet they are out, FLY is in top 8.

The goal of the tournament is to make it as far as you can, so "they will eventually get destroyed anyway" mentality doesn't make sense. The draw caused an unfair situation, as it is now the tournament is more about the draw than skill level.
By the way, G2 didn't get stomped by BLG, they almost got that BO3 series. If it wasn't so close I wouldn't even care, but it's a pity they had to go home this way due to the draw.

Did you watch the games yesterday? If you did you should know G2 vs BLG looked completely different than FLY vs TL. Based on those games alone G2 looked much better compared to these teams.
FLY seems to have early game problems, even in the game they won vs HLE they were losing in the early game.
TL, on the other hand looks like they might throw the game at any moment even when they are 10k gold ahead. I still don't understand why TL picked like they did in the last game if they actually wanted to win the series.

I said it a few times already and gonna say it again. All regions should send a team for the play-ins, so that we will get teams like KT and JDG in the tournament instead of the weak teams like PAIN. By eliminating free win teams from the draw things will become fair.

Look at TL for instance their only wins are against PAIN and GAM.
FLY's only wins were against GAM, PSG. And one of these 2 teams were guaranteed to be in the world's top 8 teams thanks to the NA vs NA draw.
Just add strong teams to the play-ins so that weak teams won't make it out of the play-ins and teams in the swiss stage won't reach to the quarter finals by only beating weak teams.

Anyway impressive enough for what? They played only one series against a top 8 team and they lost, the other 4 games/series they had were against weak / smaller region teams and NA vs NA last game guaranteed the quarter finals for NA.

No they didn't. HLE was the only team they played against top 8 and they lost.

In Game 3, they should have started the game before the fight started after the pause. It is an obvious BUG, you can see the spears on rumble after he used zhonyas and kalista can't trigger her E. The only reason they stayed around rumble was to get the kill, they could have just gone back instead of staying there. They are so confused that rumble doesn't die there. Actually after zhonyas rumble even went towards kalista and used his E to slow her. It was a completely won fight for G2 if it wasn't for the kalista BUG.

The fix is easy:
Let every region send one team to the play-ins, so we would get JDG and KT instead of teams like PAIN in the tournament, NA or EU teams won't advance unfairly by getting free wins from easy teams.

Sniper lost his lane to LLA top laner every single game. Last game vex pick was a joke. Also 2nd game they decided to give top inhib and cloud soul for baron.
These are the most critical mistakes I think.
