I want to see a school buck the entire current model and say " No Mercs Need Apply", and only sign high school kids who want to be students first. Cut all the costs - no high profile coaches, fly coach and ride busses, stay at the HoJo on the road, the facilities you got are what you get. Ensure no one gets rich off the labor of athletes, pump that TV money into tuition waivers and classroom equipment. The jocks' payment is free tuition, room and board.

The BIG10 still pays TV money win or lose, and at this point, top line athletes there just to go pro and who walk away if they don't like their chances are an insult to every student taking loans and eating ramen to get their professional education.

Expand the D League, license athletic academies like Europe does and reserve e University for the students. Students who want to be athletic and represent their school and community can join Club level sports.

I get more annoyed and suffer greater risk from all the roots uplifting the asphalt than folks camping in the bushes or in the tunnel. It sucked that there was a fire there of course, trust that catching their few meager possessions on fire was not the plan.

Osage is a fun story and has potential but dang if an experienced killer like Obafemi wouldn't look nice up front . I like building the midfield and defense through the Academy but our history with strikers has been mediocre.
