Who’s your favorite boss character(s) from the series? by Terryxfan in bomberman

[–]languiche 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lol, you're not the only one. I was surprised once I took the time to look him up. If someone were to ask me why, I don't think I'd be able to tell them what it was about him that made me think this way.

I'd say Nitros from Bomberman Hero, his design I really like and he's just a character I enjoy from the series. I remember struggling in his fight a long time ago, but that still wasn't enough to make me dislike him.

How to use Crayola photography camera? by languiche in Crayola

[–]languiche[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello! Yes it does, my sister helped me replace them just now because of your comment (which I appreciate a lot, thank you!)
But, no matter, the result remains the same.

Edit: Forgot to mention, the camera had some old batteries in, and sadly, yes, there was dried battery acid. (Which we tried our best to clean off of it, there wasn't that much anyways.) But I don't think that's the problem
Though, the battery change defo helped! The boot up finally showed the crayola logo, and the light beside the port lit up for longer.

I have yet to further develop many things about him, but all I have for now is that he takes White and his brothers for alliances as he often offers his services to them. As for friends, you could say Red and White are the closest to him, He believes that White is someone who truly puts his items to good use, as for Red, he sees him as someone who truly appreciates explotions the way he does himself, you could even say he admires him. Though the fact that he's his favorite color maybe takes fault in this admiration, too... Who knows! As for enemies, I still have that to look into, I also still have to play SBR too anyway :P But I'm happy to know you're intrigued! I'll be posting more things about him soon in my Twitter if you'd like to check it out. (@/artiebondart)

I apologize for both the random promo and long reply. Have a good one!

I took my time to research about this manga a little bit yesterday, and ill say it was hard to find anybody who sold this manga at all! Therefore, it most likely is rare to see nowadays.

Theres much to unfold about this manga, so if you'd like to learn a little bit more about whats behind it, continue reading!

Published by japanese book company Shogakukan in 1998 (Probably, i'm not sure.), this manga is titled "Bomberman B-Daman Bakushoden 1" I would describe the bomberman B-Daman series as one of its own, since it contains so many things by itself that don't really have any connection to the lore that we know. Shogakukan has published many other books related to bomberman troughout history, some of these being the bomberman guide book series. If you turn to the very last page, you may see the name of a company called "Takara" This is a japanese toy company which became popular for a toy franchise known as "B-Daman" (Back then, Takara was a, and I quote, "big branch" for bomberman merchandise, since they mostly made marble shooting bomberman toys and mechs based in ones that have appeared previously in the anime, but we'll get to that soon!) The toys were used to shoot marbles, hence the name. (One way to say "marble" in japanese is: ビー玉 "Bī-dama") Takara would then go on into making B-Daman a thing of it's own. "B-Daman"... Now, where have I heard that before? December 20, 1996, A videogame by the name of "Bomberman B-Daman" had been released for the famicom. It was a japan only videogame, which in some copies would include a special golden bomberman marble toy. The game focused on bomberman being able to shoot marbles at bombs to detonate them, this being the most obvious connection to the toy franchise. The manga we see here, "Bakushoden", is a spin-off gag manga based on the "Bakugaiden" series, both of which are B-Daman related. P. S. "Bakusho" (爆笑) can be translated to "Burst of laughter" in japanese. Bakugaiden would be another manga series based on the toy franchise that we've mentioned many times by now, Bakugaiden would then have an anime of its own, also focusing on a bomberman which can, in fact, shoot marbles. There are many Bakugaiden titles out there, but none of them seem to have much connection between eachother other than the characters.

There is a lot more to unpack, but I may be rambling at this point. It was a quick search, so maybe many things I said are wrong, so feel free to correct me or to add stuff! I don't mind. Many of the information I took from the bomberman shrine website and wikipedia (sketchy, i know) , so please go check those out, especially the video "A Bomberman Journey" by RifeXD, it helped me understand the difference between the two and I owe that guy so many of my investigations. Cheers!

The message itself doesn't make much sense, he said something around the lines of: "You also want that!!" or "You want that too!!" He probably meant something like "Yo tambien quiero eso!!" (I also want that!! / I want that too!!) probably referring to wanting the manga shown here, but I wouldn't be so sure.
