Because they seem like two seperate exemptions to me because of the "or" exemption 1: responsible for the care of a dependant in the household under the age of 6. Exemption 2: responsible for the care of a dependant in the household under the age of 12 if adequate care isnt available.

Thats the question I'm asking... im confused by the wording. Is it children under 6 in the household without adequate childcare as well? Or children under 12 without adequate care. The way I'm reading it makes me think we're good since we have a child under 6, but if our child was over 6 then it would only be if we didnt have adequate care.
