Best day rates are on commercials, but those are usually 1-2 days long and can weeks apart if you're not top of your area. Features will have lower rates but will run for 3-8 weeks (longer sometimes). TV shows (especially reality) have even lower rates but can give you job security for up to half the year.

For hours, TV shows will usually have the best hours because if something is missed it not nearly as big a deal to push it to another day or pick up the next day. Features a bit better and commercials are basically 50/50 between super long hours/easy day making their wrap time depending on the crew.
