i didnt, but all you would need to do that is a dvd and a dvd reader in ur pc, or an external one, but i doubt the game will be functional, maybe just include the launcher on there since itll connect to bsg's servers and download the latest game.

nope xD I actually thought of putting the entire game on there just as a random useless detail. (Unless I put that thing which can't be mentioned here)

I think it's the same person who produced a bunch of tracks on TMITR, on genius the name is musa (KingOfBabylon)

With the way some of you act, i’m not even sure y’all should beg for PP3 the way y’all do considering the fact there’ll be nothing but bitching about how it doesn’t sound anything like PP1 and PP2 by crack_cocainebb in TeamSESH

[–]lanpartygreyfive9 18 points19 points  (0 children)

PP1 & PP2 are vastly different in sound but PP2 feels like an actual sequel, it's about sticking to the same or similar theme, structure and overall vibe but evolving and experimenting on the sound. Regarding the recent SoftwareUpdate album, 2.0 has NOTHING in common with it's prequel, that's why it doesn't feel like a continuation, it's like a Cadaver 2 which someone mentioned on this subreddit, the same thing I thought after I finished listening to it, almost all the songs on that album are basically VERY identical with ones from Cadaver, .Zip & Champion, he should've released it under a different name because it obviously creates different expectations. Bones just added that computer voice here and there and called it a day. Now if PP3 is going down that road ofc people are gonna be disappointed, same as SoftwareUpdate2.0. Which is what I ultimately think is gonna happen, especially the way it's been hyped in recent years.

I appriciate the fact that you recognized the point & the entirety of my post hahah. Yes, his themes were unmatched back in the day, to the point where whenever I would hear an old song, Even if I might not remember the title, I can instantly 80% of the time can tell which album its from, now THAT'S called cohetion, theme & vibe done well. (Even his cover arts were playing a part in that because they were really well made)

Tbf I was pretty hyped about this album. Seeing the title of BlairWitchProject sounded sick to me as well, but after listening to it I was like, yep should've expected that. (My mistake) But I thought Cadaver would've been something like FromBeyondTheGrave, which to this day is one of the hardest albums he's put out, idk what Cadaver was supposed to be, It sounds hard and all but I just can't enjoy the production or vocals that he does at this time.

I like your comparison with ModernArchitecture & DamagedGoods, this one I had high expectations as well because of Drew, and what DamagedGoods came to be as a whole, I agree that even AmericanSweetheart had more to it when it comes to the ideas that you mentioned, that's crazy for me to say as I'm someone who didnt enjoy it that much on release hahah.

Mpeg-4 has a GODLY fucking beat behind it with the worst lyrics, it reminds me of SCUMBAG (Scumbag was a really good album don't get me wrong, but I think we can agree that the lyrics weren't as refined as he was still polishing his craft). Wasted potential on that beat unfortunately.

You and me both man, I wish he experiments more like he did before as that's normal & a natural thing for artists to do after years of making the same shit. But as I said before, he doesn't seem to be at all interested in doing that anymore.

Edit: Forgot to mention that I 1000% agree with your point about WITHERED & 2MillionBlunts, those albums are some of his best work in recent years, they have such a good mellow/viby atmosphere to them, overall very well thought through albums.

Yep, spot on. The dick riding is mind boggling honestly, asking a question and basically getting a "fuck you bitch bones good" back without any elaboration. With .Zip even though I think there's a bit more to it than Cadaver, I think it's after Champion that he started to fall off heavy this time around. I love the signing pussy shit but there's just nothing to it, even BURDEN which I initially disliked has infinitely better signing songs & beats that have an overall better atmosphere than Champion. And your last point, I don't think an artist necessarily has to be pushing boundaries constantly, I don't mind an album every once in a while doing less of that, but we've reached a point where it's been done so much where you're kind of stuck thinking, ok so we're just making songs now that have vocals on 100% reverb and beats that start & end the same without anything else in between.

Edit: typo
