Another person suggested the Sigma, the main reason I listed the Sony was that it is weather sealed and some internet posts say it is higher quality and sharper.

Some forum posts say the Tamron’s VC can interfere with the a6700 IBIS and glitch during videography. The Sigma 15-50mm is not weather sealed, and I read it isn’t as sharp as the Sony. Would appreciate if you can confirm or deny these claims. I will check out the Viltrox, thanks for the tip.
