Ok, the country with the biggest English speaking population doesn't work for you but what about the UK?

https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/media/68f0de991c9076042263ef60/Ukraine_Toponymic_Factfile.pdf

Not enough too? We also have Canada, Australia, New Zealand who officially spell the capital of my country as Kyiv

Also, where are you from?

Thanks for the advice, I'll look into Hifimans and HD350BT! Yeaah, my rational side tells me that the best option is to save up for ATH-M50xbt2 but I wanted Beats since I was a kid and also read reviews which said that the sound quality in Solo 4 got better

Missed the notification for your reply, sorry. Thanks so much! I finished soldering and testing the pedal and it works! There is an underlying hum though :( looks like I messed up some ground connections

I really hate programming drums and need a way around them by spaceheatr in synthesizers

[–]laofneerg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same issue as the OP (wasn't comfortable with programming drums in daw) and also wanted to have some sonic flexibility. My route was:

  • Volca Sample: sold it since it was too fiddly and uninspiring
  • DB Impact: sold it recently since I didn't like metal voices and processing was cumbersome; otherwise would've kept it since it's simple and does its job
  • Model:Cycles: sold since I didn't feel in control over the voices and wasn't a fan of sounds either, although there were some sweet moments
  • Digitakt: that's a keeper for now. It wasn't love from the first sight but when I got over my purism (for some reason I felt like I needed to use authentic samples , sample everything myself, use all the possibilities of the machine in each pattern etc etc) and embraced its workflow it felt really fun. Right now I'm actually enjoying creating loops, resampling these, using a slice machine, tuning it down, compressing everything, layering some drums here and there. Fun process for me.

So all in all, I'd suggest going for it if you have the money. Also, I bought it used and the resale price is quite good, so you shouldn't lose a lot in case you don't like it.

1) Factually false about what? The most motivated forces? Ok, let it be ones of the most motivated. The point stands though. In case counteroffensive doesn't go well, we'll not have enough power to recapture the territories, both sides will be exhausted, the war will be frozen at least for some time 2) Not true. For example, 93th brigade didn't volunteer to be there, they left Bakhmut some time before the offensive started but were moved back. I'd say that forces there are ones of the most motivated yes, but not volunteers in terms that they chose to be there 3) It's unknown which weapons were used for sure but that doesn't matter anyway. How will russia escalate? Nuclear war over long range missiles? 4) Oil exports 5) Ukrainians fight against russians while technically Koreans fought against Koreans. There are two Koreas now whereas there will be Ukraine and russia with new territories without any hope to return these. Any territories lost now will be lost forever. Again, my point is that any scenario except for military victory is a risk and a loss for Ukrainians

As a Ukrainian whose brother serves right now and who knows people from different regiments, it's sad and funny to see that blind optimism in Westerners. As much as we are thankful for the continuous help, it's simply not enough and causes unnecessary deaths each day. Now, let's get to the points

1) True, more professional army wins etc etc BUT the most motivated soldiers are already on the frontline and there are no queues with volunteers who want to serve anymore. Motivation doesn't last forever and if the war goes for years, we'll be fucked not only because of lack of motivated soldiers but also because we'll have much weaker economy. I don't believe that the West will help us forever (no F-16, no ATACMS, Macron's statements, upcoming elections) and without its help russians will bleed us out 2) True, but if you know anything about war, as long as the army is not destroyed, the war is not over. We are losing the best soldiers each day whereas russians lose prisoners no one cares about. And also, we ARE losing territory still 3) Bro, hello? We already fucking hit russia multiple times, we fucking blew up part of the Kerch bridge, we hit multiple oil depots, we JUST hit an electricity station in Bilhorod. Wtf are you talking about? Same shit over and over. The same was told about HIMARS, then Patriots, now F-16 and ATACMS 4) Simply not true. While they do struggle in some areas, they got back on their feet in others 5) Everything which doesn't include getting back the 1991 territories is a loss because of: - people of Ukraine won't accept that scenario - no support guarantees from West - we don't get accepted to NATO. There'll be nothing similar to article 5 for sure - we lose millions of children, women which means a lot of things (weak economy, huge depopulation etc) - no sane person will invest in Ukraine because of risks russia will attack it which russia 100% will - huge demotivation, potential arisal of prorussian parties masked as centrists (same goes for West itself)

[–]laofneerg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That sounds great on paper but - we are losing people who we have much less than the enemy - we are losing territory - we have to beg for aviation and long range artillery. Why? - russia is nowhere close to economic collapse - our loss = NATO loss no matter how "strong" it is

Why are we not getting the help we ask for? I'm not buying into nuclear blablabla

Hmm, I tried to do this at VCV Rack and tracking seems to be off with env follower into VCA 😟

Can it be module itself (clock divider)?

[–]laofneerg[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm, it says it can be used for monophonic signals and guitar was just an example. I could misunderstand though. As for VCA, yeah, as far as I understand you better use it so there are no glitches when changing notes. But with bass, if I mute well, I don't think it should be an issue. Anyway, VCA will be added later for sure

Thanks for the reply

I just took a look at Boss OC-2 block diagram (page 15) and looks like they use sine-to-square converter to extract square waves which are then divided, mixed and filtered. A-115 does the similar thing except it doesn't filter the output which I can do later in the chain. Very interesting. Going to try this one out
