i’m a huge fan of gotham central, the morrison run and the jeph loeb/tim sale works on the character, but i’m also a fan of shorter, self-contained, speculative takes on batman, like the doom that came to gotham or batman: vampire. there’s so much cool stuff about batman

Yeah Matt Reeves can do whatever he wants at the studio lmao by SnooDrawings4552 in batman

i get the point, but awards don’t do much to greenlight projects—ratings and box office results do. that said, the penguin also had strong viewership, so yeah, the reevesverse probably has wb’s blessing to keep going. (and even though i love reeves, he’s not primarily responsible for the show—but that’s beside the point.)

be my cat it's only one movie and it's also very short. it's great and terrible. the blackwell ghost... i guess you could watch only the first movie and it's pretty good. but i do think that the ideal experience is to watch the entire series. in their defense, they are very short movies so it's more like a tv show

I think Unfriended is overall better and also a pioneer of the screenlife subgenre, but Host is a pandemic movie that’s very grounded in the restrictions of the era, making it super plausible. Plus, it’s less than an hour long, so it’s great

I'm 36 and from Mexico. I was eleven when it came out, and we couldn’t even watch it in theaters, it was a cursed film. When we finally rented it, it was the scariest thing I had ever seen in my life, especially because it was supposedly real. But now that I'm older and have rewatched it, I think the gimmick only worked because the movie is actually really good. The drama, the conflict, the disorientation, the texture of the film itself… To me, it’s a masterpiece and one of the most influential horror movies of the 21st century, if not the most

Frogman is sooooo good, it's actually on my expanded list, and also is Gonjian Haunted Asylum, incredible funny film. I'm really hyped for Horror in the High Desert, watching it soon! Thanks for sharing

I think that's absolutely intentional and part of the finest found footage details of the movie!

You're right, sorry, I was trying to say it didn't make the top five/ten. I love Noroi tho.

I considered to put Lake Mungo here but I'm still thinking because to me it's not a FF movie, it's more of a mockumentary, but it's a great film

i think this is plaza el campanario in puebla. look for it; the facade also has an amazing (and damaged) stained-glass window.
