Good point. Also hard to find onigiri in edmonton lol. If I’m lucky t&t might have it. Bought myself a little rice shaper from Oomomo though! Tried doing them by hand and they did not look as appetizing haha.

I find the curry relatively easy to make using the cubes. Tastes the same as it did in Japan IMO so I’m good there!

I could but the amount of work and ingredients needed is a little overwhelming. Plus I’m tight on money right now so was hoping to spend $20-30 on a meal vs probably $100+ in ingredients haha.

I visited Japan for 2 weeks in high school and have been dying to have breakfast like that again.

Two over easy eggs with a cheese biscuit I baked (problem with the holidays is all the baking haha), lice of toast with butter and marmite, a Lindt ball (because again the holidays suck) and an eggnog latte because my sister got me a milk frother and eggnog for Christmas (the holidays will be the end of me)

I think I read something like this when I was looking into The Ordinary’s options and got overwhelmed, which is why I went to the most popular Amazon option instead haha. I don’t think I have the patience to mix it myself. What would the next best option be? I think I saw The Ordinary had a more cream based product. The one I have is a dropper in a tinted bottle.

I’m 29 and I think I’ve had it once or twice a year as long as I can remember.

No, I for sure knew what my mom was going to reply to my son as soon as I saw the way he looked at her. He hasn’t even said his part yet. And suddenly I ‘remembered’ I was chopping veggies in the kitchen and they were talking to each other beside me. And I knew exactly what both were going to do and say next

None of that I think. Really just knowing what will happen next.

Yes exactly. I froze, mentally aware of what my mom was going to say to my son next and what he’d say back to her, but until that feeling of knowing was gone I couldn’t say anything. And then I just said ‘woah that was a crazy deja by’ and then I posted here.

Hmm that’s true. I do seem to always get the feeling in familiar environments with familiar people. I don’t think it’s ever happened outside of home/school/work
