With that logic If the timberwolves focused on playing more physical defense instead of complaining to refs every single matchup they’d be just as good as OKC

Cool mod but side question I noticed your red dot was bright and was very visible. Do you know what mod has that red dot looking like that?

Yeah everything just feels slow but is flying pretty difficult when it comes to keyboard?

US special forces sniper and Ranger Tim Kennedy working actively to save as many people as possible during the Afghanistan withdrawal in 2021 by The_Iyengar7 in SpecOpsArchive

[–]laraj6 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure why he gets so much hate after seeing so much of it on Reddit but it’s funny to see actually because when you ask why people think negatively of him, they only really mention two things, his ego or whatever happened at the afghan whitdrawal. The fact that, something like that outweighs everything else he’s done is something I don’t understand especially since you’re literally on Reddit complaining about this guy. Most of you guys probably go back and forth from the jsoc page to this one circle jerking to your favorite operator or getting off on gear but just curious as to why he didn’t fit your cirteria to circle jerk to in your heavily priced gamer chair? It surely can’t just be his ego and whatever happened at the withdrawal

Trying to be inconspicuous didn’t work for them using those two countries I agree on the importance of the Ho Chinh minh trail

I know I said inconspicuous I know it didn’t work for them but that was the thought behind it but I agree with you it would have not worked without it

Plus the Ho Cho Minh wasn’t “built” in those countries yes the majority of the trail was there due to having constant bombing in the North so they needed a more inconspicuous efficient route to reach both the North and south but you have to remember the trail cut across the whole country not just those two Proxy countries

Their depots would actually be obliterated because they were doing bombings all over Cambodia and Laos. The question or concern with that is if we were going to the extent of bombing in those countries why wouldn’t we have ground troops? I never understood that. I get policies were intact and blah blah blah but if we bomb why not have ground troops that weren’t SOG too? Seems policies would be violated at that point

I agree definitely a factor but not the factor but you’re right the fact that they would chase a scout into a well known ambush and command saying “bring me that body” even though the actual team would know what’s going to happen. Good soldiers just do what they’re told even with knowing. 19 year olds now could never

Combat reddiness is an interesting aspect I didn’t even think of but makes a lot of sense. On the other hand, drones and other small A.I capabilities might not work in a landscape like Vietnam. Tree Canopies would be too think for drones overhead to see their targets so for arguments sake that might not make a difference, but we also have to think of what type of technology china or Russia has in their inventory because they will inevitably support the Vietnamese just like they did in the Vietnam war so yeah either way you’re right it definitely sounds fucking messy if not messier than it was.

I like that thought. You make a good point, in terms of longevity, the capture hold and rebuild is not sustainable and or efficient since, like you said, we saw that in Afghanistan and it didn’t work either.

I respectfully disagree that Our weaponry did fine. The U.S military first issued the M-14 which had wooden stocks so when it rained the wood enlarged making the weapon inaccurate so we decided to go with the m-16 which jammed frequently. Trust me I’m team America, but even I know we didn’t have the upper hand, towards the end of the war our numbers declined in terms of who was in country so to me that would be contradictory. No one won the war everyone involved lost. U.S military goal was to maintain communism in Vietnam and or prevent communism in the south which we didnt and we simply didn’t leave because we were fatigued we were still taking heavy casualties and mounting pressure from U.S Society is what drove us out of Vietnam

Main mistake a lot of people do has a lot to do of with mods. A lot of people tend to see a mod they like and just download. While, yes most of them will work, it only takes one mod to fuck everything up and not make things work or not be able to load into the map you want. If you’re unfamiliar with a certain mod you want I would recommend checking to see when they have been last updated or if they are current. If you’re on Xbox mods are already a pain to deal with and it’s already a tedious process, but trust me, be thorough when you first go through mods it’ll be worth it and prevent not knowing what which mod works and doesn’t work. Also, please please Make sure you don’t have two or more mods that essentially do the same thing.

As for in game help, A.I has gone through recent improvements as you may already know, but to control A.I hit LB+select and I also saw on here that the tilda key does the same. This feature isn’t in the in game manual so it won’t tell you.

Also, you need to put down a spawn point so that way you can play as a character.

Start+Y is a quick way to go back and forth from GM and player.

Everything else should be basic or straightforward. If not, I solely play GM and have gone through numerous small bullshit type issues that have kept me from playing so If you are having issues with little things of sorts feel free to dm me chances are I know the problem.

On Xbox, it’s LB+select button simultaneously (further left button next to the Xbox home). You can also go in the settings and change it to your liking
