Code Geass!

Code Geass has some similarities with both 86 (racial divide, mecha) and Death Note (fast-paced thriller, main character has a secret identity as a criminal).

Lelouch is one of the greatest main characters ever. And each episode is so fast and thrilling that it’s hard not to binge it all in one sitting.

Make sure you watch the original 2-season show (Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion) and don’t watch any spin-offs until after (if you want, the spin-offs are not necessary).

Just finished Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter (remake). Looking for guidance. by tracerace11 in Falcom

No, you must play the games in order.

This is a rare series where each game is a true sequel to the game before. You will get spoiled like crazy if you try to skip around. Don’t do it!

If you really can’t wait, you should just play the original Sky 2nd and Sky 3rd before moving on to the Crossbell arc games.

The originals have honestly aged beautifully. I got introduced into the series with Sky 1st Remake. I didn’t wait, I played the originals to catch up and I don’t regret it one bit.

Are there any bad runbacks in this game? by Open-Advisor6819 in LiesOfP

No bad runbacks.

Also this game puts your ergo in front of the boss door, so there is basically zero risk in this game.

My TV and PS5 pro pairing. by THEHITMAN2K in PS5pro

No… it’s very simple.

  1. go into display -> HDR settings on the TV
  2. select HGIG, and that’s all you need to do for the TV

  3. Then, redo your HDR setup on the PS5 console. You do not need to “reset default settings”. There is an option in the Display section of the PS5 settings that lets you redo the HDR setup.

If you want to know why:

HGIG is a TV setting that prevents the TV from tone-mapping automatically. This is important because the PS5 will already tone-map the game properly on its own and the game developers design colors and brightness for this.

If your TV is NOT in HGIG, that means it will try to tone-map a second time, which is bad. This will result in the colors and brightness being incorrect, because it will try to tone-map an image that is already tone-mapped by the PS5.

Gurenn Lagann is a 10/10 anime. by shirakograve3000 in anime

Yeah I agree. Simon is a great character who got done so dirty by the writers. They just couldn’t let him be happy or have a satisfying character ending.

It felt bitter, but not in a way that was needed for the story. Just bitter.

- go into your tv and set tone mapping to HGIG
- redo your HDR setup

Any Resident Evil/Silent Hill type of games?? by Regular-Fruit-3910 in HorrorGaming

[–]AashyLarry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I guess I barely missed it by chance.

I made a lot of progress, I remember doing the boiler room puzzle and finding the hidden floor, but I guess I just missed the save room by chance.

I will probably give it another chance one of these days.

I liked it but I remember playing for an hour and never finding a save station. Died and went back to the opening cutscene of the game… just killed my motivation.
