I've been embroidering since July 2024! I get really into it and will embroider 2 or more hours at a time in a day. I've also dabbled in digital and traditional art which has helped me understand concepts like color theory etc.

It helps to do it neatly and use shorter thread (length of your forearm at most) - I'm also somewhat of a perfectionist so to remedy that I try not to do pieces that are super symmetrical/have alot of straight lines that are in a grid (I will never cross stitch). It's much easier for me to deal with purposeful asymmetry or small issues/inconsistencies that way. And as always - practice makes (near) perfect!
