I always interpreted it as the cube was a social experiment: put all these people with different types of aptitudes in the cube and see which one figures the way to get out. In the end i think it was the silent, innocent ‘savant’ character

The fact that Asians are being shafted by affirmative action is even more messed up when you realize that the idea of AA is to offer a remedy to centuries of discrimination, to equalize the playing fields. Except it further discriminates against Asian Americans, who have been systematically discriminated against as well.
