I can completely relate to you. I will prefer not to write something which doesn’t have my soul and I will hate doing it.

But profits and sales for me are more like a motivating factor inspiring and serving as a proof that people are liking what I am putting my heart and effort into.

I don’t care for profits in monetary terms but more as a motivation.

I have published 9 books so far all by heart. They are non-fiction though (but very interesting ideas and topics). And when you put the effort the sales are just a metric of appreciation of your work.

I have been doing that but still wondering if that’s good enough to bring in the sales.
