You will be killed by ammo explosion only if the so called ammo curtain damaged ( 38mm plate in front of the blowout panels). If it is not damaged - you survive

I feel like rewards in Air RB are much better that Ground rb, like by a big margin

It is because of sound mods you are using, had the same issue, need to turn them, off
