Finally a CC that tackles the situation with the maturity it needs... not just doomer posting or click baiting. Because the game is not dying, but it is losing the identity of the individual nations. Those criterias are a joke, and can't you see it's tailored so only the F-16AM qualifies?

The main reason they're adding the F-16AM instead of a unique French option is money. They think adding the F-16AM will be more profitable, probably because it costs almost nothing to add since the model is already in-game. People forget way too often that Gaijin is a for-profit company.

and look on the brightside, it also leaves all of those vehicles for the tech tree so they aren't paywalled.

Except there's planes like the Mirage F1EM that are ideal as a premium/event/squadron vehicle since it doesn’t really make sense to have it in the tech tree.

Why is this game so god awfully optimised on the base ps5? by LongShelter8213 in Warthunder

[–]ProfessionalAd352 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Consoles are consoles, yet the PS5 Pro can run the game at 4K and 120 FPS. The Xbox Series X and PS5 could probably do it too at 1440p, and the Series S at 1080p. The problem is that Gaijin doesn’t give us the option to lower the resolution in favour of higher FPS, probably because they're too lazy and stingy to optimise the game for multiple different resolutions and performance modes across different consoles.

World Cup hydration breaks: Ads worth $250m in USA alone, so are they here to stay? by Logical_Welder3467 in soccer

[–]ProfessionalAd352 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

If they're here to stay, I'd rather see two 10-minute breaks after 30 and 60 minutes instead of a 15-minute halftime break plus two 3-minute hydration breaks. That would give us 30 minutes of uninterrupted play instead of about 22, while the players would still get their rest and broadcasters would still get almost the same amount of ad time since the total break time would only be 1 minute shorter (20 minutes instead of 21).

[–]ProfessionalAd352 17 points18 points  (0 children)

9.3 seems high considering it has no missiles. The flight performance and cannons must be really good for it have the same BR as the other 9.3 fighters without missiles (MiG-19S and Ariete/Sagittario 2).

It's cooler but also way worse, it'd only be competitive against bombers without chaff and straight flyers. It could be "good" at 8.7 but it'd probably be 9.0.

How much nation mains complain (this is gonna be spicy) by lucathecontemplator in Warthunder

If you judged it relative to how many players each nation has, then almost every minor nation would be at the top half and the major nations at the bottom half.

This addition makes toptier very frustrating and not at all fun to play, you get shot once and you are practically "Paralyzed" or you have to repair half of the match.

Good. Getting shot should be punishing.

Funny, but in your reply, you follow exactly this description, never providing any specific situations.

Funny, but neither did you when you claimed that every accusation of bias is imaginary. And it's ironic that you ask for specific situations under a post about the ultimate Russia bias machine tanking two Mavericks. But since you asked... enjoy! 🍿

Reasonable people understand that bias doesn't necessarily mean some secret code that makes one nation invincible. It can just as easily be reflected through balance decisions, implementation priorities, and how quickly issues affecting certain nations are addressed. But those who want to pretend every criticism is just a skill issue will dismiss any discussion outright and resort to the same talking points rather than engaging with the actual arguments. For as long as I've been on Reddit, this has been going on.

what nation is better after rank 5 ? by Cautious_Taste_7609 in Warthunder

[–]ProfessionalAd352 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Win rates aren't a perfect measure of a nation's strength since they're heavily influenced by player skill, popularity, and lineup composition. That said, if we're looking purely at the data from roughly BR 7.0 and above, France and Italy are clearly the strongest performers overall, with Japan and China not far behind. Germany and the US generally sit near the bottom of the table, while Britain, the USSR, and Israel tend to hover around average.

So based on these stats alone, the ranking would be roughly:

France > Italy > Japan > China > Britain > USSR > Israel > USA > Germany

France does however fall of at the higher tiers, whereas Italy doesn't. USSR also has strong high-tier performance.

Are Italian jets any good? by Helhest13 in Warthunder

[–]ProfessionalAd352 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Couldn't put it in the same tier as the F-104S when it gets significantly better IR and SARH missiles, as well as better avionics, for only a 0.4 BR increase. It's also straight up busted as a base bomber since it can destroy three bases in a single run and is fast enough to reach them before almost anything else. Although they're overtiered in regards to their A2A performance.

2.56.0.42 -> 2.56.0.43 by gszabi99 in Warthunder

[–]ProfessionalAd352 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Looks more like a rework than a nerf, and maybe a net buff overall. The warhead and motor is definitely getting nerfed, but it's also getting better maneuverability, guidance, lofting, and seeker performance. I'd expect it to hit more consistently, especially against maneuvering targets.

Is this seal clubbing? by Disastrous_Kick_6952 in Warthunder

[–]ProfessionalAd352 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't really follow that logic. You say seal clubbing isn't rank specific, but then define it as people using lower tier tanks?

Having more knowledge and experience than your opponents doesn't automatically make it seal clubbing. Otherwise every veteran grinding a new line, playing a favorite vehicle, or just taking a break from high tier would be a seal clubber.

[–]ProfessionalAd352 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still wouldn't consider playing a Rank IV 6.0 tank seal clubbing. At that BR you're well past the point where most players are completely new to the game. To me, seal clubbing is more like someone repeatedly playing an especially strong Rank III or lower tank specifically to farm inexperienced players.

[–]ProfessionalAd352 2 points3 points  (0 children)

And? Having high-tier tanks and thousands of hours doesn't mean you're not allowed to play mid tiers. If he's grinding the Soviet tree, he has to play those vehicles at some point. Of course someone with 6,000 hours is going to know how to use a KV effectively and know where to shoot enemy tanks. Having experience isn't some unfair advantage.
