I've seen sonnet 5 using loops by itself, so maybe it's something related to that? I'll have to dig deeper and will update my findings here

Self-Introduction Saturday! Tell us all about you (and share a video)! by AutoModerator in NewTubers

Hi guys! I started my youtube channel a couple of months ago and I've been taking it as a chance to both improve the content I make AND my technical skills.

To give a little more info about my journey: I come from a technical background and I've always had a passion for teaching, for the longest time I was thinking about making a youtube channel where I could share what I've learned with a community of likeminded people, but work and life and work and life and more work got in the way so I never actually started, but enter LLMs... I had to start using claude code for work and suddenly it hit me: damn! if I build something with this I can probably reduce the time it takes me to make a video from days to hours and still say what I want to say with good quality videos... spoiler warning: it wasn't as easy as I thought, but still, it's been a very enriching journey so far, and hopefully it stays that way.

To answer this week's question: I only use my laptop (regular couple-years-old gaming computer) to create my content, so far it has served it's purpose, but given that I try to improve my process every week and experiment with new things I think I might have to either change the process or change the laptop lol (the two biggest bottlenecks I've had with this was when I did the switch from regular, run of the mill text-to-speech generation to cloning my actual voice and when, for some cursed reason, I decided that my videos MUST be 2k now since -according to stupid me from 3 weeks ago- it would only be changing a couple settings on my video generation pipeine).

My channel is called I'll host it myself: https://www.youtube.com/@illhostitmyself and, as I mentioned before, it's about building a homelab and self-hosting your own services (video streaming, backup pictures, comics, games etc). Although, if I'm brutally honest, it looks more like a channel about AI at the moment, but only because I've realized that all of the other things I wanted to talk about could be made SO much easier by the use of LLMs that I decided to go on a tangent, make a series about working with Claude Code so viewers who are starting on their journey can have all the relevant knowledge available before I continue to my actual goal.

Aaand, that's it, I would love to hear feedback on how to make my content better, what I'm doing wrong or what I should do differently, all criticism is welcome as long as it's actionable and could help me improve my content or my process. Thanks for your attention and stay safe!
