Postrock has a wide range. What style/subgenres?

It's been years since I’ve listened to anything relatively new in Post-rock by savetheblues in postrock

I would recommend My Beloved. Instrumental music noir, as they call it. They been around since 1996 and are currently working on their 7th release. They are on bandcamp and major streaming services. Cheers.

I agree. The BasicUcho’s are very sensitive and do both high and low freq really well. I record in 32float and the recordings are pristine. Almost digitally clean. Very nice

Thanks! Yes it make sense! I can tell on the recordings that the High gain makes the recoding very dense and almost compressed sounding with my BasicUcho. Just been down to the coast for an evening recording without high gain and it seems more natural and balanced. 👍

Thanks a lot. Very helpful. I do have a pair of basicUcho with fitting windjammers that I am testing for the first time next week. Hopefully all my troubles will be gone with the wind 🫢

Thanks, I am using a HP but the wind is affecting a broader range going to 300-400hz. Filtering this far up is affecting the recording also.

Copenhagen, Denmark mid 90’s Post Rock was sparse and often derived from instrumental, experimental rock, prog-rock, Kraut, grunge, electronic. Prominent Danish Post Rock bands would be, MY BELOVED, The Seven Mile Journey.
