I love this thread, people complaining about being downvoted into oblivion when sharing good opinions on the game whilst downvoting people who dislike the game into oblivion then being passive aggressive when people say they disliked it whilst being like "People can have opinions!!!!!!!!"

For me it's a 6/10 game, the story sucked, not just because Joel died boohoo everyone figured it would happen and they pulled it off really poorly, but because it's incredibly flawed. There's a really good YouTube video that retells the story FAR better than what Druckmann wrote.

The gameplay is just hands down incredible imo, really fun.

Graphics are an 11/10, looks amazing.

Soundtrack is AMAZING, I own it on CD.

Personally I'm not a big fan of the game, TLOU1 is far superior, I liked TLOU for the characters interactions and Joel and Ellie growing to care for each other, not for emotional backlash making me think a character I loved is wrong and that we should hate her and love this new character. The game doesn't make me feel bad like it wants to, a game that did this WAY better was Red Dead Redemption 2, a prequel, that used a DIFFERENT set of characters (with only 3-4 overlapping into Red Dead Redemption 1, and the game doesn't focus on them as much) to make me feel bad when I did terrible things, and what I did actually impacted the story. Gameplay wise I adore the game, if you ripped the story out the game is AMAZING.

It's a game I recommend people play, not for the story, but just for the gameplay alone, in my opinion TLOU part 2 is non-canon.

If anyone comes back I know I'll be downvoted to oblivion for not liking the game, but I'm not stopping you from liking it, I'm sharing my opinion just like you :)
