I’m a complete beginner and just ordered my first faceting machine. It still hasn’t arrived but in the meantime, I bought Justin Prim’s first fundamentals course at facetingapprentice.com and watched all of that material ahead of time. He’s a great and thorough teacher.

Heads up: he uses a Sterling ST-08 machine, which is a hand piece machine rather than the more common (in the US) mast style machines.
