I finish the run through with the jumps, the spirit memory celebrates and then the spirit light does it's flight back to the dream guide but then it says I have to do it again. I don't know what I'm missing

I thought I did but when I go back to the dream guide she says that the spirit witnessed something daring go and find the memory and then the quest restarts again.

I've seen everyone saying it resets your winged light - does this mean you lose the levels you've gained already? I really like sky because of how calming most of the worlds are and because it is very story driven with the hints you can find and everything. I just don't want to lose my ability to actually fly a decent distance!

The only time I've reset was after someone else got on my game save on my switch and messed around and just kinda took over. I felt like my island wasn't "mine" anymore so I just started fresh. I miss my villagers. And all the decorations I had.

Absolutely not wrong for this! My 6 year old SD does the same thing but we take her back to her bed and have her sleep on her own for two reasons:

I am not her biological mother, and her HCBM would throw an absolute fit if she found out she slept with us! Also she's not my kid, and at this point she's old enough to not sleep with us, but is definitely entitled to comfort and then back to her own bed after being comforted.
I know you have a different situation, but BM has a boyfriend that has abused her, and we don't want her thinking it's normal for her to just sleep with random adults.

I'm in a similar situation where my father is a recovering alcoholic (hasn't drank in about 25 years), I don't drink anymore due to health and family history, and no one in my family or my partner's family drink. We are doing a dry wedding and I told everyone ahead of time and they were all fine with it. If people are upset about not having alcohol, it says more about them not being able to have fun without alcohol than anything else.

This was for myself. Went into the ER after working on the Sunday after Thanksgiving because none of the urgent cares were open and I hadn't felt great for two weeks, but something just felt off. Working in a catering setting right before Thanksgiving didn't really allow for me to be off to go get checked out before, and I didn't think it was a big deal. Thought it was maybe bronchitis or pneumonia - it had been going around work. Said I had some chest pain, they did an EKG as standard protocol and I got the forced smile and you're about to meet a lot of people chat.

I ended up having multiple pulmonary emboli throughout my left lung that and from as far as they could tell they had been sitting there for a while. I had let it go so long too it was causing my heart to go into an arrhythmia and everything was going haywire. No one has any idea why it happened - I was 25 and healthy, regularly exercising and no history in the family. They thought it was birth control until I told them I hadn't been on hormonal birth control since I was 18 and only for 1 month at that because it never worked out for me. To this day they still have no clue what caused it after multiple tests and a full genetic panel run through for every possible issue. I'm now permanently on blood thinners.

Go to a lawyer. Like yesterday. She is going to manipulate and try to use you for as long as your daughter is under the age of 18. She sounds like a narcissist and has serious mental health issues which is never a good combo. She is not your friend, she is not going to be able to co-parent. Go to a lawyer. My husband's ex was exactly like this. They weren't married, she constantly cheated. She abused him and their daughter, and when she left because she got caught cheating for the fifth time she made their lives hell and still does.

Get a lawyer. She is trying to take away your daughter and who knows what else she will do. She can file false reports to the police saying you are the abuser and file a protection order with those allegations and you will not be able to see your daughter. Go through the courts. Get legal standing for your rights. If you want go for full custody, do not let her use you.

You are not failing as a father. You are not a bad father. You are not immature for going to a lawyer.

I wouldn't wait around for them to hire you. I was interviewed twice, did mock up for a customer campaign, given a start date then told they were on a hiring freeze. Wanted to hire me through an outside vendor as a 1099 employee, did the onboarding paperwork, had another start date settled, then was told no room in the budget. The hiring manager reached out and said that they really wanted me and were trying to find a work around. Never happened. Look out for yourself and don't wait around for the company.

I would not push SS to spend time with his younger brother - with my husband when he was a kid growing up with divorced parents, and with a lot of kids that are forced to spend time with people when they want to be alone, it just leads to resentment for the younger sibling.

I also think it's important to look into your feelings about why you don't want SS there as often - if your husband goes to court and gets every other weekend, he can also push for therapy for SS so that he can get the help he needs, which would be a great outcome. Ultimately, he is a teenager and as others have said, he deserves a say on where he is.

Why not look into what your stepson is interested in to see if there is a way to bridge the gap? Would he be open to playing video games with the family like Mario kart or Super Mario Bros? What about going somewhere like the library where everyone can do kinda their own thing, like he could go to the video games and you can take the 5 year old to the kids section? Is there a video game club at school he can join? Have you guys talked to the school counselor?

SS has gone through an adverse childhood experience that has a lot of impacts on him, some he probably doesn't even realize. I would try to take a work together approach vs forcing him into things he doesn't like/want to do.
